Well, Joe knew these things. RIP indeed.

Too new, lets go back to a 25 year old singing in front of a smallish gathering.

  3. Shermlaw says:

Fabulous in concert. He left it all on the stage.

    Greetings:

BAck in the last ’68, I was doing my military service down in Georgia and my Big Sister was summering on the Jersey (aka Joisey) Shore. One Sunday afternoon I gave her a call and she said she had gone to a Joe Cocker concert the night before and she then began to go into the note by note transcription of her experience. To derail her some, I asked what other groups were on the bill. She said the opening act was Led Zeppelin and they were terrible.

    De gustibus non argumentum.

  5. cranky-d says:

Led Zeppelin? Never heard of them. They must not have amounted to much.

  6. McGehee says:

They went over like… like something that was supposed to be buoyant, but wasn’t.

  7. Silver Whistle says:

A tremendous performer backed by a great band. Henry McCullough was still playing up until a few years ago.

  8. sdferr says:

    Your hat, first go.

    Joe’s cover.
