Not only is gender irrelevant, it is a thoughtcrime to say “boys & girls” [Darleen Click]

Any parent sending their kid to this public school is complicit with child abuse.

A Nebraska school district has instructed its teachers to stop referring to students by “gendered expressions” such as “boys and girls,” and use “gender inclusive” ones such as “purple penguins” instead.

“Don’t use phrases such as ‘boys and girls,’ ‘you guys,’ ‘ladies and gentlemen,’ and similarly gendered expressions to get kids’ attention,” instructs a training document given to middle-school teachers at the Lincoln Public Schools.

“Create classroom names and then ask all of the ‘purple penguins’ to meet on the rug,” it advises.

he document also warns against asking students to “line up as boys or girls,” and suggests asking them to line up by whether they prefer “skateboards or bikes/milk or juice/dogs or cats/summer or winter/talking or listening.”

“Always ask yourself . . . ‘Will this configuration create a gendered space?’” the document says.

I’m wondering if Lincoln public schools are going to make all gender inclusive kidlets use the same restrooms, locker rooms and showers?

Since gender is irrelevant and all.

If teachers still find it “necessary” to mention that genders exist at all, the document states, they must list them as “boy, girl, both or neither.”

Furthermore, it instructs teachers to interfere and interrupt if they ever hear a student talking about gender in terms of “boys and girls” so the student can learn that this is wrong.

“Point out and inquire when you hear others referencing gender in a binary manner,” it states. “Ask things like . . . ‘What makes you say that? I think of it a little differently.’ Provide counter-narratives that challenge students to think more expansively about their notions of gender.” […]

Despite controversy, Lincoln Superintendent Steve Joel has declared that he is “happy” and “pleased” with the training documents.

If there were any parents in Lincoln actually concerned about their children’s well-being, Steve Joel should soon have an intimate encounter with tar, feathers and a rail.

    – The PC obsessed birdbrains among us, people who almost always turn out to be Progressive Democrats (quell surprise) are certifiable, bless their busy-body little hearts. I have a theory that all of this crap is designed to intentionally confuse kids all through the most impressionable time segment of their growing up period to prevent them from achieving happy, basically content, common sense based world views, because that starts with “c” and that rimes with Conservative. The bastiches know what they’re doing, getting to them while they’re young.

  2. BigBangHunter says:

    – It also rhymes with it. If I were just starting out today, raising any kids, they wouldn’t get within 50 miles of a public school.

  3. dicentra says:

dicentra: The ultimate purpose of SSM is not to bring happiness to the individual couples but to further obliterate male/female differences. The time will come when it will be “impolite” and then forbidden to present as male or female.

‘feets: dicentra i think you live in an angst-filled world and are working yourself into a lather over nothing.

At what point, ‘feets, do you think we’ll quit following this trajectory? Is there anything in your experience to suggest that these activists have a stopping point?

  4. palaeomerus says:

When the dumber but smugger 9 or 10 percent of this country try to letigiously, socially, and even violently wrangle everyone for the sake of less than 1 percent, many of whom deplore this, and 25 percent try to hide their head in the sand as the tensions rise, it will end in blood. Nature don’t care about your manifesto and even freaking Kim Il-Sung couldn’t pull this crap off.

  5. These are the times when you seriously doubt that this country is worth saving.

  6. God made humankind in his own image. Reality be damned, these fools will remake humankind into whatever their fevered minds can imagine, as if we’re all just Play-Doh.

I’d say that this is insanity, but insanity isn’t freely chosen: to choose to do this to children isn’t insane, it’s simply evil.

What’s the title on this document? How to groom children for sex?

  11. Pure, unadulterated, banal Evil.

Getting this policy reversed is only the first step, parents.

The people who dreamed-up this policy, those who approved it, and those who implemented it must be shunned and banned from forever teaching children.

This is about broken people creating more broken people so that broken is the new normal. It’s pathological. Just like Tammy Bruce said it was.

Compared to the typical classroom educrat, even happyfeet is a fucking polymath — but if you use words like “polymath” to a teacher you’ll set her amulet blinking.

I occurs to me that a really subversively minded theater coach (teacher, whatever) could blow the whole thing up by attempting to stage a middle school revival of Annie Get Your Gun.

I risk being labeled an horrific “Christian-ist” Neanderthal, but so be it. Any parent concerned about his/her children will immediately remove them from public schools and seek out good parochial education or homeschool. Do it while they still allow it. They are coming for our children and they will not stop.

It’s no longer hyperbole; it’s truth.

Nebraska is a red state. I know places like Lincoln and Omaha are more liberal but, I think this is a move meant not to stand but, to intentionally trigger a reaction from parents. It will thus prove how “reactionary” “gender obsessed” and “homophobic” the red staters are.

  29. TaiChiWawa says:

So how are the children supposed to address their teachers? Surely, “Mr.” “Mrs.” “Ms” express a binary gender distinction.

This is what happens when teh gheys are allowed to marry: gender becomes irrelevant and children are seen as animals needing proper (official Government) husbandry. Next we’ll see parents removed from the birthing process altogether. Mother will be a vat, kids grown and matured so they will never suffer any human frailty or abuse, and parents can only interact with them on weekends (supervised of course), if they have time.

Upside being we’ll all have properly matched curtains and balanced paint schemes..
