friend on right is one of the great-grandson twins — who will be 12 in a few weeks (!!!!)
it was one of the few times he was NOT in the pool (behind the green hedge)
My parents have a gardner to take care of the lawn & trees, but my mom (82) tends all the garden stuff — which I’m convinced is why she is going to outlive us all.
That’s a beautiful moment you’ve managed to capture in time Darleen. Not only is it visually gorgeous, but is filled with all the warm connotations of a Rockwell painting.
I echo bh’s observation on what a blessing it is to have so many generations gathered together in the warm familial embrace :)

– Besides, Ayers and Alinsky always said fake but accurate and any sort of extreme no matter how erroneous is fine for the cause.
Yoyos can be quite daunting to a little boy.
Until you discover yo can nail your big brother in the nuts with one.
All the incentive a lad needs to master the technique.

yep, serr8d, I love my nifty 50. :-)
Can’t beat a Fast Fifty, unless you’ve got a ‘Rocket Twenty-Eight‘!
Actually, the next lens on my drool list is a 24-70mm f2.8 … (FX of course)
