it’s very perplexing why this momo went to go look for a job in a central valley parody town instead of staying where he was in los angeles and looking there
this is not a display of good judgment on his part
A great deal of what macroeconomic masterminds do is perplexing, especially to the extent that these never seem to learn from their multitude of manifest and crippling actions. But there they are still with their hands on the steering wheels of the ship of state, and ever desiring to do more of the same.
If you look at it as performance art (he being a politician, after all), it makes perfect sense. He went to where the unemployment rate is higher to illustrate how bad it is in California.
Griping about him going to Fresno is like griping about somebody trying to illustrate unemployment by looking for a job someplace other than Washington D.C.
at least this guy’s perplexing machinations for the time being are limited to california, a state which truly enjoys being rogered silly like a young latino boy at a chamber of commerce retreat in the hamptons
Yeah, from the dead. As in, like a zombie. And like a zombie, the CA economy will keep lurching along, seeking more and more flesh (taxes), slowly but steadily decomposing (hey did you see that 100 year old water main in Westwood that exploded the other day?), until someone puts a bullet through its collective brain as a final act of mercy.
So we got that going for us. AND we have deep thinkers like Captain Cupcake making up our population.
Absolutely. I highly encourage the lady who thinks “there are jobs in Seattle” to spend what she has to come up here. After all, with our $15/hr minimum wage, she’ll be able to afford housing and food and utilities!
It’s difficult to understand how cash-carry isn’t an insurmountable clue to future expectation, given past performance.
?
TARP was one of a few of the most colossal cash-carry operations in the history of cash-carry operations, and Neel got to run it.
I like it better when politicians lied about things that were not so obviously lies.
whaaa?
what kind of momo ditches LA for Fresno to look for a job
hf
maybe because Fresno’s “official” unemployment rate is still over 10%.
i still find it very perplexing
i never even been to fresno my whole life
This triggers a memory of the night time soap parody Carol Burnett did in the 80s “Fresno” .
It can be found on YouTube if that will help you catch up happy.
i’m caught up

this is not a display of good judgment on his part
it’s irrational

geez, griefer, can you lick Moonbeam’s ankles any faster? I mean, he deserves a 4th term as Gov! Like Barry, he’s The Change we’ve been Waiting for!

Darleen the republicans are not going to win california anytime soon
whoever they nominate is as hopeless as wendy davis is in texas
it’s a thing

California is for amusement purposes only anymore
“it’s very perplexing why this momo went to go look for a job in a central valley parody town”
To mess with George Mallory, because it’s NOT there.
Wait, are you saying this is the same Jerry Brown that was governor when I was in high school?
WTF? Everyone of my high school teachers are retired and I have classmates who are grandparents. Something ain’t right.
Who does he think he is, Vin Scully?
“California is back”

So, yay us.
Ever wonder why Jerry Brown being a Christian means nothing to the usual Christian bashers?
Somewhere in the State Capitol attic there’s a picture of him that’s getting smarter.
heh
