   Heh. I’d like to think Michael Ramirez saw my posts at Weasel Zippers and on Twitter the day ISIS captured Mosul and claimed they would march on Baghdad, but I suppose the comparison was so obvious everyone thought of it.

   The idea that Obama’s “policies” would lead to helicopter evacs has been around since before the 2008 election.

   So yeah, it’s a comparison too obvious NOT to make.

   Well, at least the good news is that the place is big enough to land at least a couple of Chinooks instead of one Huey so theoretically you could cram 19,00+ pounds of people in each instead of the 4000 pounds or so in a Huey. Progress !

   Except with the sheer number of Stingers and other MANPADS floating around loose in the region, it’s pretty much guaranteed that the first evac chopper will get popped the second it takes off from the roof.

   And wouldn’t that make great video for ISIS promotion, er, RT, er CNN?
