“… but if it reaches a certain point, perhaps you should revolt.”
h/t Bob Belvedere who wonders if this makes Scalia an #OUTLAW
#outlaw revolution scalia scotus taxes
Yeah, well, Antonin it isn’t going to take a whole lot more to push the rest of us producers over the edge.
We reached that point a ways back.
I have to disagree StrangernFiction, Our taxes aren’t high enough. On account of all the printing and borrowing.
Now on the other hand, if we had to actually pay for all the politicians spending through taxation, there wouldn’t be one left alive by now.
I expect the progressives to do a few weeks at least on Scalia.
Here’s a possible headline for them:
“Radical right-wing Supreme Court Justice advocates revolting against the government!”
In other Scalia news, strangely enough he doesn’t see the hazard to liberty in the NSA reading everyone’s mail.
Maybe I’m missing some brilliant nuance; wouldn’t be the first time.
Since Andrew passed away, Breitbart isn’t what it used to be.
Thanks, Darleen.
Hey, Nino, instead of ‘should’ it should read ‘must’.
I find it disconcerting that even Justice Scalia speaks of the government as this entity separate from the people — and with it’s own rights.
I usually just ask people how much of your earning can the government take before you consider yourself a slave.
