“FLASHBACK: Senator Obama Critiques President Obama”

Gee. Look who was a vile racist teabagger before he wasn’t!

I particularly love the bit about how it’s “unpatriotic” to raise the debt limit, given that it’s now traitorous for people like Senator Obama to hold President Obama hostage to arbitrary spending caps that will lead to “economic” shutdowns and “default”.

Anarchist! Arsonist! Jihadist! Burn him!

Nowadays we’d probably caution the youthful ClownDisaster that he should be more circumspect with his denunciations of his full-grown future ClownDisaster self, since the NSA just may be listening to his threat-speech, which upon hearing, would inform the Secret Service to hustle him out of the room for his own protection.

  2. Drumwaster says:

so, according to Obama, if adding $4T to the national debt is “unpatriotic”, then what would adding $6T to it qualify as?

I await an answer with eager ears, but I’ll be busy reloading all the while.

Who has looked to see what short positions TheClownDisaster and his allies have taken in the markets over the last few months? Who has the stones to look? HisMajesty‘s SEC? Please, monkey, don’t mock me.

    Pockets? What pockets?

  4. RI Red says:

    Double plus unpatriotic, drumwaster.

As long as we’re talking about vile racist teabaggers, we might spare a moment to remember who was standing up with Senator Obama back in 2006: Scary Harry Reid.

We need to demand that Obama and Reid start listening to Obama and Reid, and stop their insane brinkmanship at once!

How unintentionally funny is it to see a headline touting TheClownDisaster’s threat-warning on Social Security checks endangered tomorrow [Drudge: “Scare: Obama Administration Says Social Security Payments In Jeopardy”], when the entirety of those people younger than 35 already understand there is no way possible they’ll see a penny on the dollar of their “contributions” by the time they reach the extended retirement age — if they reach the extended retirement age, that is, and it hasn’t been placed out of reach altogether by law?

So that’s what a terrorist with a bomb strapped to his chest and a gun to your head looks like.

You just say that because he’s black.

  9. sdferr says:

Again: Who is looking to see what short positions TheClownDisaster’s family and friends are taking in the markets? What, we’re to think EmperorShinyNewClothes doesn’t issue his buddies helpful tips when he has decided to grind-talk the markets into collapse? Or is it simply okay when MrMoralsForEveryoneElse does this, but others aren’t permitted?

Or maybe Oprah doesn’t want to chance suffering Martha Stewart’s fate, eh? Yeah. Sure. That’s it.

Democrats I know say that he was wrong then, but he’s right now.

At least there’s an admission that Teh Won committed some kind of error at some point in his life. Progress!

Funny that he and Reid should both have the same epiphany at the same time.

  12. Slartibartfast says:

Things are different now, I would guess. Back then it was irresponsible to extend the debt ceiling; now it’s irresponsible not to.

    Betsy McCaughey:

We have heard of the impious doctrine in the Old World, that the people were made for kings, not kings for the people. Is the same doctrine to be revived in the New, in another shape that the solid happiness of the people is to be sacrificed to the views of political institutions of a different form?

Oh, sorry! That was Madison as Publius, 45 — this is McCaughey: Brazen Claims to Executive Power
