Forty-fifth in a series of real-time empirical observations

In the time it takes you to read this post, an eclectic mix of writers and C-list celebrities at the Huffington Post will have uploaded 23 new entries demanding that President Bush meet with grieving mother Cindy Sheehan—some of them long, some of them short, and one by Jim Lampley that consists of nothing more than a photo of the cable boxing analyst’s saggy junk with the legend, “Just say no to Bush!”

I will not click on the Post again!

  3. Hoodlumman says:

The comments are humorous b/c they beleive Sheehan is going to be the undoing of Bush… unaware of the problem that only fringe-leftist groups are following her every whim and that typical Mr. and Mrs. Joe American completely forgets about the local news highlight on her as soon as CSI and or Law & Order comes on.

At least they’ll have something to do while “Able Danger” and Jamie Gorlick get national attention.

  4. Carin says:

Is that the group-blog equivalent to 23 women showing up at party all wearing the same evening gown?

  5. Carin says:

And, really it’s just amazing that EVERY ONE of the comments (at least as many as I could stand reading) were positive?  Really, the country must be united behind Cindy.

Funny, how my comment never posted. Huh, must have gotten lost in the mail, because I’m sure liberals would NEVER stifle dissent.

  6. The Colossus says:

So cruel, Jeff.  And so true.

  7. eakawie says:

Why hasn’t Karl Rove simply used his necromantic powers to resurrect Casey and send this woman away?

  8. Mark Coffey says:

It’s funny because it’s true…dear God, is it ever true…

Your comment is probably hanging around with mine, drunk in a bar somewhere, Carin. You know how those negativeista comments are. Losers, every one of ‘em…

Synchronicity can be a bitch, #1:

On the TV, an evil-looking kraut spy with a really bad hair part and a frown line that looks like it was carved into his high, Aryan forhead with a #4 cold chisel has just ordered Mr. Moto’s pre-emptive assasination.

No vapor trails yet, but I have hopes…

    SB: probably

    not real

Hopefully the next 23 entries they upload look at the deliberate killing of Iraqi children by Michael Moore’s “minutemen.” Killed by the same people that killed Cindy Sheehan’s adult son. The same people who, if they had their choice, would kill Cindy Sheehan simply because she isn’t one of them, not because our troops are there.

Exactly.  I submitted three different comments, but the thought police wouldn’t allow them on the site.  One of my comments actually made it through for a few minutes, but was then quickly removed.  I had to post my comments on my blog instead.

I can’t believe the media gong show that this whole Sheehan thing has turned into.  It’s really disgusting how the left is trying to use her to promote their agenda.

Great blog!  I’ll have to link to it.
