“Obama Misses HALF Of Obamacare’s Implementation Deadlines”

But hey, it’s the law of the land and the GOP can’t do anything about it. Other than continue to fund raise against it, then — once back in power — promise to manage it better than the Democrats.

Oh. And they can also exempt themselves from it’s reach. But then, pointing that out is just petty. Because, like, brain drain. And probably racism, somehow.

Warner Todd Houston:

Many of the features (or do you call them “bugs”) of Obama’s take over of our health care system are supposed to be going into effect this year. But deadlines for important features such as the employer mandate, taxpayer protection features that are supposed to stop fraud and identify theft and other aspects of the so-called “Affordable” Care Act have been passed by without implementation despite that they are absolutely mandated by the law.

All this was released in a new report by the Congressional Research Service, a non-partisan office of Congress. The report found that of the 82 deadlines, about half have already been missed.

Laws that are selectively enforced and whimsically and capriciously applied aren’t laws. They are the tools of tyrants, and the fact that they can masquerade as laws is our own fault, because we’ve allowed the language to become so corrupted, and abuses so widespread and accepted, that the very foundationalism upon which a stable rule of law was proposed and built has been tacitly, over time, abandoned.

We don’t live in a constitutional republic. And if ObamaCare, as the law of the land, can be rewritten and reworked on the fly, then really, no laws are sacrosanct, nor should they be.

And to be honest? I’d take anarchy over tyranny any day. Because at least with anarchy you know where you stand going in.

I say we get ahead of this and ignore the whole thing.

No! You people need to hustle with those implementation deadlines! Hurry!

Ignorance of the law that we have not yet decided how to employ is no excuse.

Can we safely assume that your chances of getting a waiver from IRS are directly proportional to your chances of getting them to recognize your 501c?

And anarchy beats tyranny any day, because at least you’ll have a fair fight.

Sure, because it’s common knowledge that the private sector is just clamoring to put political hacks (aka “staffers”) on their payroll, because Profit!

    Where’s your optimism now?

    – You won’t need a glass half-full of strychnine, or any other device for the purpose. Like everything else in your life from cradle to grave the beneficent StateNanny™ will be ever present to aid you in assisted death, and panels to hurry you along.

There is another circumstance, however, that considerably
complicates matters. For many decades, the power ruling society in
the Soviet bloc has used the label ‘opposition’ as the blackest of
indictments, as synonymous with the word ‘enemy’. To brand
someone ‘a member of the opposition’ is tantamount to saying he or
she is trying to overthrow the government and put an end to
socialism (naturally in the pay of the imperialists). There have been
times when this labelled straight to the gallows, and of course this
does not encourage people to apply the same label to themselves.
Moreover, it is only a word, and what is actually done is more
important than how it is labelled.
The final reason why many reject such a term is because there is
something negative about the notion of an ‘opposition’. People who
so define themselves do so in relation to a prior ‘position’. In other
words, they relate themselves specifically to the power that rules
society and through it, define themselves, deriving their own ‘position’
from the position of the regime. For people who have simply
decided to live within the truth, to say aloud what they think, to
express their solidarity with their fellow citizens, to create as they
want and simply to live in harmony with their better ‘self’, it is
naturally disagreeable to feel required to define their own, original
and positive ‘position’ negatively, in terms of something else, and to
think of themselves primarily as people who are against something,
not simply as people who are what they are.

    “Holiday In Cambodia”

    So you been to school
    For a year or two
And you know you’ve seen it all
    In daddy’s car
    Thinkin’ you’ll go far
Back east your type don’t crawl

    Play ethnicky jazz
    To parade your snazz
    On your five grand stereo
    Braggin’ that you know
    How the niggers feel cold
And the slums got so much soul

It’s time to taste what you most fear
Right Guard will not help you here
    Brace yourself, my dear:

    It’s a holiday in Cambodia
It’s tough, kid, but it’s life
    It’s a holiday in Cambodia
Don’t forget to pack a wife

    You’re a star-belly sneech
    You suck like a leach
You want everyone to act like you
    Kiss ass while you bitch
    So you can get rich
But your boss gets richer off you

    Well you’ll work harder
With a gun in your back
For a bowl of rice a day
    Slave for soldiers
    Till you starve
Then your head is skewered on a stake

Now you can go where people are one
Now you can go where they get things done
    What you need, my son:.

    Is a holiday in Cambodia
    Where people dress in black
    A holiday in Cambodia
Where you’ll kiss ass or crack

Pol Pot, Pol Pot, Pol Pot, Pol Pot, [etc]

And it’s a holiday in Cambodia
Where you’ll do what you’re told
    A holiday in Cambodia
Where the slums got so much soul

If I understood Beck correctly yesterday, his company tried to get an Obamacare waiver and was denied.

I suspect Beck’s companies asked for the waiver to illustrate a point rather than with any expectation of getting a waiver.
