Zimmerman persecutors don’t disappoint [Darleen Click]

No sooner does the jury go into deliberations then State Attorney Angela Corey fires the information techonology director who raised concerns in Trayvon Martin case.

State Attorney Angela Corey fired her office’s information technology director Friday after he testified last month about being concerned prosecutors did not turn over information to George Zimmerman’s defense team in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.

On the same day attorneys finished their closing arguments in that nationally watched trial, a state attorney investigator went to Ben Kruidbos’ home about 7:30 a.m. to hand-deliver a letter stating Kruidbos “can never again be trusted to step foot in this office.” […]

He said he had acted in good faith about “genuine concerns.” He said he had been proud to work at the State Attorney’s Office and feared the letter would cripple his chances at finding another job to support his family, including a 4-month-old son.

“I don’t have any regrets,” he said, “but I am terrified about the future and what that will end up being.”

His attorney Wesley White — who resigned from the State Attorney’s Office in December and is a critic of Corey — said the firing was aimed at sending a message to office employees “that if they feel like there is wrongdoing,” they should not disclose it or seek legal guidance from a private attorney.

“If they do speak to an attorney, then they are dead,” he said. “The State Attorney’s Office will do whatever is necessary to not only terminate them, but destroy their reputations in the process.”

“Kangaroo Court” just seems inadequate to describe the political lynch mob machinations of the Florida prosecution prostitution team.

Another aspect of the organization of the machine is the sudden notable silence, orders having come down from above we may surmise.

  2. Shermlaw says:

sdferr, the translation being, “we already lit the fuse; we don’t need to light it twice.”

  3. geoffb says:

Some are silent and some are to be silenced.

But then a certain silence is in demand from the top. Guidelines have been issued as to how the un-silent shall be dealt with. Corey seems to be right in line with them before they were even issued.

  4. Kruidbos “can never again be trusted to step foot in this office”

Politically unreliable. Unwilling to advance the Narrative. Probably a bitter-clinger and one of those Constitution fetishists.

Hey, his feet look kinda hairy…

  5. sdferr says:

Speaking of leakers and consequences geoffb, there’s a tid-bit (or a topping cherry) of confusion layered on for good measure.

  6. BigBangHunter says:

….[Obama’s] quip that he was “not going to be scrambling jets to get a 29-year-old hacker” signaled a White House desire to downplay the case.

    – Because, well, any time it looks like Bumblefuck is going to suck it on any issue, and is totally impotent, sudenly that issue becomes “unimportant” in the gestopo WH, and also shutup.

  7. geoffb says:

As far as the silence of the Congressional Black Caucus et al, their original outbursts have had the intended effect. That was not just limited to getting Zimmerman arrested, nor even to increasing the turnout for Obama.

They have engaged in tampering with the entire justice system at every level. All, prosecutors, cops, judges, defense lawyers, jurors, are on notice that they must tread lightly in anything which will tend to exonerate Zimmerman or show the thug character of Martin lest they and those they love feel the wrath of the mob which the Democrats wield.

More parallels between the Left and the Islamists. One being a religion sold as a political system and the other being a political system sold as a religion. Marketing what is thought to sell best to the suckers targeted for the sale.

  8. BigBangHunter says:

    – Even after the decision there will be repercussions, and Corey, and other criminal acting Progressives may not like some of them.

  9. Shermlaw says:

geoffb, spot on. I’ve said before, the verdict will speak volumes of where we are as a country. It is the last chance for the people to speak up in favor of the rule of law. I can only pray the six jurors have that kind of fortitude.

  10. leigh says:

I think the reaction of the black “leadership” to the Zimmerman verdict, regardless of which way it goes, will signal the end of any kind of outreach by most whites. Regardless of one’s politics, fear trumps all and no one wishes to live in fear.

I predict a rise in vigilante justice and more white flight than Boston experienced in the 70s.

I’d strongly suggest Mr. Kruidbos move elsewhere – Texas, Kansas, Arizona or Utah come readily to mind…

With apologies to the recently beatified St. Edward of Snowden, “All whistleblowers are equal; some whistleblowers are more equal”.

  14. I think it is important to note that they don’t really care about George Zimmerman one way or anther, he was just a convenient egg to use in their omelette making. Imagine the stops they would pull out if they wanted to go after you.

  15. Pablo says:

Not Fucking Guilty. Good for him.

  16. palaeomerus says:

Now the hunters in the prosecution should become the hunted and sued for misconduct and disbarred.

  17. Neo says:

Angela Corey should spend her time worrying about her indict for falsifying statements on the arrest warrant of George Zimmerman.
Definitely a case where man turns and bites dog.

  18. Ernst Schreiber says:

Angela Corey should spend her time worrying about her indict for falsifying statements on the arrest warrant of George Zimmerman.

    Don’t hold your breath.

  20. It’s about time people learned that tagging an adjective onto “justice” does not make it more justice-y.
