Final Dem-led CO Senate sell-out of state sovereignty and a fundamental natural right: live feed

Begins again at 1:30 MT. The live feed for watching your fellow American citizens in CO get ass-banged by the legislature and Governor can be found here.

But no worries. I plan on blowing my whistle when these lockstep petty tyrants get hard enough to penetrate me. And if that doesn’t work, I’ll fake an STD, or maybe my period.

That ought to stop it.

Don’t rule out vomiting. It should be pretty easy to do.

  2. You’re supposed to just tell them to stop ass-raping the Constitution. I’m told that’s the preferred approach.

  3. Jeff G. says:

Of course, when nationally, 49% of Republicans favor a national gun registry database, we’re already screwed.

Universal background checks passed in Senate, heads to House

  5. LBascom says:

Jeff, for a little perspective, I doubt anyone to the right of John McCain still identifies as a Republican anymore, so there’s that…

  6. VekTor_ says:

HB 13-1228 (uncapped “fee” for CBI background checks passed on to buyer or on any transfer) passes the Senate 19 to 16.

So, poll taxes can pass, if we call it a fee. Thanks, Chief Justice Roberts!

  7. Jeff G. says:

Universal background check fee passes, 19-16, with one Democrat defecting.

Next up, the ban on “high-cap” (read: standard capacity for AR-15, SCAR, etc.) magazines. Not to mention, it bans the sale of nearly ALL semi-auto handguns because magazines are designed often times for extension, and it is the design that makes the weapon illegal, not the actual magazine. For instance, the best selling handgun in the US, the GLOCK, would be made illegal because their magazines have a removal base plate. So too would grandfathered magazines if you handed them to someone else. Like, for instance, your son, or your wife, your friends. Punishable by 12 months in jail and a $5000 fine.

This is what you get when you elect Democrats. This is tyranny. This has nothing to do with public safety. This makes legal users into criminals. And despite all the design flaws of this bill, it will pass, because Democrats want to control you, not protect you.

    Fuck them. Molon Labe.

Grandfathered magazines should have boobies, not bullets!

  9. Jeff G. says:

We will lose business. And we will lose jobs.

Not to mention, there is no way to prove that your grandfathered “high-cap” mags were possessed before the ban. So you’ll just have to prove it, if some cop decides he wants to take them and harass you or arrest you.

The people of Colorado are not being served. They are being raped by Michael Bloomberg and Joe Biden and Barack Obama and Eric Holder.

From over here, it seems like 1997 all over again. I wish you better luck in the fight.

  11. cranky-d says:

There’s nothing like depriving honest citizens of their fundamental rights to cut down on crime!

  12. They don’t favor honest citizens, they don’t represent honest citizens, they don’t understand honest citizens.

    We are the Other.

  13. leigh says:

McGehee, what’s this about the ‘burbs of Atlanta seceding from the city I read earlier today?

  14. Those suburbs were never part of the City of Atlanta. That writer is an idiot.

  15. JD says:

I just don’t get how they take a shit on the Constitution. Someone better be at the courthouse steps tomorrow

  16. leigh says:

    Ah. Never mind /Litella

  17. VekTor_ says:

HB 13-1224 (magazine ban) passes 18-17. This was the big one.

I can’t recall a time when I’ve felt more like Charlton Heston at the end of Planet of the Apes.

  18. Jeff G. says:

Another Senator, mine, as a matter of fact, just said she would not follow the law.

    Go Senator Marble!

  19. SDN says:

And after the no knock SWAT raid hits, you’ll have to find another Senator. Unless someone plans to organize 24-7-365 armed guards in the neighborhood. Kind of like the Fruit of Islam, just for freedom instead of submission.
