Gee, I hope she has tenure.
Of course, the progressives — knowing themselves to be on the side of good and right — would never associate themselves with the atrocities of other leftists across the 20th century whose long-term aim was disarmament of the citizenry.
Right up until such time as they can smell the Utopian finish line. At which point, Bill Ayers can perhaps step in and explain, rationally, pragmatically, dispassionately, why such things need be done — and how it will in the end bring about a greater good on earth.
At which point, the Two Minutes of Hate will commence nightly, and those not cowed will be removed from the civil equation, either through re-education or, in the most severe (but necessary) cases, by other means.

I agree, squid. I remember the first time I saw someone with a semi-automatic handgun (I had only handled long guns up until that point). I asked if I could examine it. I looked at him with a puzzled look, and he said “How do you takeaway a loaded gun from someone?” I was stunned for a few moments with the ramifications of that question.

Most of them are a little fuzzy on the process of getting from here to there, but they’re filled with passion and eager to vote, two or three times if needed!
They’d have gotten away with it too if it wasn’t for those meddling grown-ups.
Well placed sister!!!
I suppose that now I’ve chosen my “hill”, I should take some steps to harden my redoubt.
