What rebel weapons look like in a technology age

Seems all one needs is a basic understanding of how weaponry works and voila!

Fortunately for the next phase of disarmed American rebels, this seems to includes not a single Congressional Democrat, and nary an establishment Republican.  That is, if the last few months’ gun control push has taught us anything.

Of course, it helps if you have advanced weaponry to examine in order to figure out how best to put together DIY counterparts.  And for that, at least, the Obama administration has been very forthcoming with the Syrian rebels.  If you believe the rumors.

Unfortunately, the most transparent administration ever has determined that if the fog of war won’t control the narrative, their willingness to impose an iron fist will.

I didn’t see any flash suppressors or pistol grips, so Our Betters would have no problems with these, I’m assuming.

But the pic of the guy remote-controlling a machine gun (according to the caption, anyway) makes me wonder if King Barack will soon move to designate Arduino boards as “assault weapons”, or make people who buy them “terrorists”.

Did you ever wonder to imagine what (unnecessarily yet intentionally) running the tracks of a T-72 over the fallen corpses of rebels looks like? In a technological age, the Syrian Army of Bashar Assad will digitally videotape the act and find it posted online. Exaltation at depravity! Scud Bs for Aleppo!

I don’t have to imagine as something similar was depicted in the movie “The Beast of War” which was about the Soviet/Afghan war.

I still think the best part is that all we have to do is put on Guy Fawkes masks, and the Obamagruppen will assume that we’re really just Occupiers with bad aim.

geoffb: That was a powerful scene. The movie also reinforced something I already knew: don’t let them turn you over to the women.
