I’ve read IraqWarWrong several times before, and just assumed it was a parody right off the bat. I don’t have any proof, but it has to be, right? The way it’s written conveys a very intentional stupidity.
Besides, if you assume this guy is being satirical, it makes it all the more fun to watch the naive commenters try to debate him on The Unpopulist’s blog. It’s gold.

Quick question here. When one has typed up a comment here, one has to enter the secret code, or whatever it is, in order to be able to post, right? Well, generally, one likes to preview one’s post before posting, so that one does not inadvertantly make an ass of one’s self. However, when one does preview, there is no box in which to type the secret handshake so one is forced to copy the post they’ve typed up, click ‘<< back to main’ then go to the post they wished to comment on and star tover.
See? star tover… what is that? That could have been avoided.
Don’t get me wrong, I think having that spam trap is a good idea. It’s definately the right thing to do, but could we get a little spam checker box type thingy on the preview page also?

Some kids, if they grew up where there were some nasty red ants or fire ants and happen to have a mean streak, took great pleasure in placing a caterpillar on the ant nest and watching the ants attack it, and drag it underground for dinner. Given Treacher’s history and style, though, I don’t take the demials all that seriously.

After taking a quick look at this site I see that it is not funny at all, not at all. What is funny about silly movies and talking to fruit? Nothing! Why don’t you try and make fun of someone smart like Oliver Willis or Matthew Yglesias. 2 things, now that this thread is long dead:
1) My metrics put “Jim Treacher” in the Chicago area, or there abouts. IWW is, according to same metrics, in a very different part of the country. Additionally, considering personal correspondance with both, they are not at all the same person.
2) “Puce” is an alterego of and alterego.
“Jim Treacher” is nobody.
