“Michael Moore: ‘Killing Is Our Way. We Began America w/Genocide'”

Funny, isn’t it, how this guy — and others like him — have no problem feeding themselves from the poison trough that is the USA.

In Moore’s case, it’s clear, repeatedly.

It’s almost as if he thinks if he calls us all pigs enough times, people will cease noticing the scruffy pink hamhocks, the pork belly flab, and the pie-caked snout that practically define this cheap, populist poseur.

Fail.

Fat man speak with forked tongue.

  2. cranky-d says:

Mikey knows that when he opens that ginormous cakehole of his to distribute more lefty talking points, he’ll get the attention he desperately craves.

    Why is he famous again?

  3. palaeomerus says:

If anyone ever kills Michael Moore (God forbid! I’m not being sarcastic here, killing people sucks. Don’t do it.) it will take at least three hours of hard work, and technically be termed a genocide by virtue of the biomass involved.

  4. palaeomerus says:

See, I don’t want Michael Moore dead. I’m just standing on him to reach the fat joke.

  5. bgbear says:

what about all the bears and squirrels that died to feed the Daniel Boones of early America? Ok, us bears can be mean but, cute little fuzzy squirrels :(

  6. LBascom says:

This is who “we” are? Speak for yourself fucker.

  7. palaeomerus says:

I want to get gay married to Michael Moore’s forehead. Just to try that shit out. See if it’s me. Y’know.

  8. McGehee says:

Every morning Michael Moore commits genocide on a herd of hogs at the breakfast buffet.

  9. palaeomerus says:

Why should you have to marry a whole person? Just mary the parts you want.

I look at Michael Moore’s forehead and I see a lot of soft friction. And understanding. In that he’d have to stand under me so I could exercise my conjugal rights. Or I’ll divorce his #@#*-ing forehead and leave.

  10. palaeomerus says:

Michael Moore is a RFGFHILTF. (A repulsive fat guy’s fore head I’d like to F).

Somebody add that to Urban Dictionary.

  11. beemoe says:

So let me get this straight, a Jew said this:

“It’s so unbelievable and it only happens in America. And it happens again and again…we kill people in schools, we kill them in hospitals, we kill them in religious organizations. We kill them when they’re young, we kill them when they’re old, and we just got to stop this.”

Out loud and clear on Meet the Press and didn’t get laughed out of the studio like a retarded clown?

    It only happens in America?

  12. serr8d says:

If anyone ever kills Michael Moore (God forbid! I’m not being sarcastic here, killing people sucks. Don’t do it.) it will take at least three hours of hard work, and technically be termed a genocide by virtue of the biomass involved.

Heh. Do pianos still come in wooden cases? because no ordinary coffin’s gonna want that job.

  13. Dalekhunter says:

    Poor choice of words sure.
But just to be clear, the Native American genocide really can’t just be overlooked.

  14. serr8d says:

The entire human species, especially if you believe in Darwin’s Trail of Tears from protoplasm pulsing in a pool, advancing through evolutionary stages built on consumers consuming producers for untold millions of years and only the best consumer wins, is the perfect end-result on this little mudball. Because, without God, without some kind of built-by and built-in moral absolute, we ARE but animals. And destined to ALWAYS be animals, because our short-lived civilizations are just that. Let’s hope for humanity’s sake that we retain the top spot, because if and when something comes along to supplant us, Katy bar the door.

  15. beemoe says:

But just to be clear, the Native American genocide really can’t just be overlooked.

Neither can the cronic misuse of the word genocide.

  16. LBascom says:

Oh, on refreshing beemoe beat me to it, still…

the Native American genocide really can’t just be overlooked.

There was no genocide, the government never set out to eradicate all Native Americans.

  17. leigh says:

The Injuns nearly outnumber the White Man where I live.

    What ‘genocide’?

  18. JHoward says:

Speaking of enormous, under mob rule it’s almost like Heller and McDonald never happened.

Actually, it’s exactly like Heller and McDonald never happened. FTFM.

  19. McGehee says:

Apparently “genocide” has gone the way of “racism,” “hate” and “rights.” No wonder poor ol’ Inigo doesn’t come around anymore.

  20. Ernst Schreiber says:

The genocide that peopled Oklahoma with the five civilized nations.

The Trail of Tears isn’t anything to make light of.

  21. Ernst Schreiber says:

I’m also against lazy and false moral equivalencies.

If I got Vic Morrow’d in the Twilight Zone, I’d a damn sight rather wake up in a Cherokee village than in a Dutch attic.

  22. SBP says:

I wonder what that fucker’s “carbon footprint” is.

I’m also surprised that he’s survived the Great Twinkie Famine of 2012.

  23. beemoe says:

Not making light of the Trail of Tears, just pointing out that they didn’t have to move them to OK, they could have saved themselves a lot of trouble and slaughtered them all in GA.

That would have been a genocide.

  24. LBascom says:

There were wars with certain tribes of native Americans. Sometimes white Americans against Indians, sometimes white Americans and Indians against other Indians, sometimes white Americans and Indians against white Europeans, and so on and so forth. There was never a genocide.

  25. dicentra says:

    Killing Is Our Way.

Whereas the rest of the world’s nations?

They settled all their disputes with a good stiff game of poker: Winner gets the other guy’s territory.

  26. sdferr says:

There has been, on the other hand, a sort of metaphorical genocide in Michael Moore’s brain, carried out by himself, no less: the utter murder of serious thoughts. He has killed them all dead, exterminated every single last one.

  27. Slartibartfast says:

But just to be clear, the Native American genocide really can’t just be overlooked.

No one’s overlooking it. It’s just that it gets kind of old, blaming Democrats for slavery and native American genocide.

  28. dicentra says:

the Native American genocide really can’t just be overlooked.

There are more Native Americans (and part NAs) in the U.S. now than there were in 1620.

    More trees, too.

    We’re just that awful.

  29. dicentra says:

It would also be nice if these morons compared U.S. history with the history of other nations instead of a utopian ideal.

But you can’t unseat the current crop of rulers and take their place by praising our history: you have to bad-mouth it to convince people that YOU ought to be in charge.

    You echaton immanentizer, you.

  30. beemoe says:

There are more Native Americans (and part NAs) in the U.S. now than there were in 1620.

Stupid Americans, can’t even do genocide right.

  31. SBP says:

I remember a discussion with a Euro who was going on about the “Americans” wiping out the Indians with smallpox blankets. I pointed out that the guy behind that was named Lord Jeffery Amherst (i.e., not an American; maybe he was like Prince, Duke Ellington, or Count Basie, but I don’t think so).

It’s especially annoying when the Eurosclaim that Americans are the most racisest people in the world!1!!111! when they have a small-scale ethnic war going on right now.

  32. newrouter says:

    Killing Is Our Way.

mickey needs a trip to timbuktu. he’ll be ok the jihadis don’t roast pigs

  33. newrouter says:

a Euro who was going on about the “Americans” wiping out the Indians

what marvelous things the belgians accomplished in the congo

  34. Ernst Schreiber says:

If Killing really was Our Way, then why the hell are we still in the Middle East.

I was promised a sea of glass. Where’s my sea of glass?

  35. SBP says:

“There are more Native Americans (and part NAs) in the U.S. now”

There are certainly a lot more than there are Jews in Germany.

  36. Slartibartfast says:

what marvelous things the belgians accomplished in the congo

Europe fucked up Africa beyond all repair. If you want to point fingers over who screwed up most of the planet to the largest degree, that’s always a good comeback.

Of course, the Jooos probably get scapegoated for that, too.

  37. palaeomerus says:

Hey! Remember when we tried to kill all the fags ? Oh wait. That was Iran. And Afghanistan. Shit. I always get us mixed up.

  38. LBascom says:

I remember a discussion with a Euro who was going on about the “Americans” wiping out the Indians with smallpox blankets

Remember the Opium Wars? Ah, good times…

  39. SBP says:

Oh, yeah. The Belgians were total fuckheads even by European standards. It was probably a pecking order thing that grew out of most of the other countries in Europe having their wars in Belgium for several centuries in a row.

  40. palaeomerus says:

How do ya like us now Wonkette?

  41. SBP says:

The Brits were probably the best of the lot (note that they’re the only ones who have ANY former colonies that aren’t complete horrorshows), but that tiny island sure didn’t manage to take over 25% of the planet by being nice guys.

  42. SBP says:

Though again, there’s perspective to be considered. There’s a saying in Indonesia that 400 years of the Dutch wasn’t as bad as 4 years of the Japanese.

  43. Slartibartfast says:

The Brits were probably the best of the lot

See also: LBascom’s noting of Opium Wars.

  44. Libby says:

Yes, Michael, if only we were the kind of culture that preferred to strap bombs onto our children and send them into crowded public areas, or the kind that killed our own family members in the name of “honor.”

  45. Silver Whistle says:

I wonder what that fucker’s “carbon footprint” is.

    About 175 lbs per sneaker.

  46. geoffb says:

    a trip to timbuktu

They have an airport so he can just fly-in anytime for the festivities.

  47. happyfeet says:

native americans and their stupid feathers and their nasty casinos and their fat children and their squalid reservations

    are depressing

  48. newrouter says:

we wouldn’t have this school shooting problem if we eliminated the public/gov’t schools

  49. happyfeet says:

that’s an excellent point if killboy hadn’t been homeschooled

  50. leigh says:

There was that crazy guy who shot up the Amish school in Lancaster, PA a few years ago.

  51. palaeomerus says:

I bet that when Skynet become self aware and starts wiping out mankind with the USA’s 300 remaining post-Obama nukes, Michael Moore will simultaneously cheer it on and blame the whole thing on Israel and the banks.

  52. newrouter says:

ok i’m really bad a slippeyslopism

  53. newrouter says:

that’s an excellent point if killboy

i saw a pic of him hs in the geek club. what happened to check engine/wallet?

  54. happyfeet says:

wasn’t there a kid in Bemidji MN awhile back what shot up a school on an indian reservation?

  55. newrouter says:

    on an indian reservation?

    that’s a gov’t school

  56. happyfeet says:

    yup Red Lake High School

    he killed 10

    Jeff Weise

he looks very native american in his wikipedia photo

  57. happyfeet says:

Ok good news is they didn’t screw me… No charge

turns out oil change people hadn’t reset something day before yesterday

so false alarm and I lost a couple days… I needed rest though… But now it’s snowing, and against my wishes… So I went back to creepy motel

And I asked for a different room right? New room… in different wing… has exact same Ringu picture… ON TWO WALLS

and lots of overall wearing people in this wing, so the Eli Roth factor is even higher plus I have to eat at effing cracker barrel

  58. palaeomerus says:

Just curious, but are there more NRA members or MSNBC viewers?

  59. McGehee says:

    About 175 lbs per sneaker.

Until he farts. Then it’s closer to 225.

  60. McGehee says:

Just curious, but are there more NRA members or MSNBC viewers?

Slightly. And guess which are better armed?

  61. newrouter says:

has exact same Ringu picture… ON TWO WALLS

did you have to pay more for stereo?

  62. palaeomerus says:

    Okay I risked getting scroogled.

Wikipedia lists the NRA membership at 4.3 million but lots of liberal groups question that and like to claim that it includes dead people and ex members so they tend to peel a million off of that totals since 2008 or so. So 3 million or so?

MSNBC’s ratings according to Deadline Hollywood indicate and average primetime viewership of up to 913,000 (which is a little less than half of FNC’s 2.1 million average) and CNN was a measly 670,000 viewers.

Fox peaked at 11.5 million for the 3rd Romney vs. Obama debate.

  63. happyfeet says:

No is actually fairly decent price for being off the interstate, which is still unfair since I came here on a regular highway

  64. newrouter says:

but lots of liberal groups question that and like to claim that it includes dead people and ex members so they tend to peel a million off

just don’t do that to the voter rolls

  65. beemoe says:

I am just trying to get my mind around the concept of Michael Moore’s sneakers.

    Ain’t happening.

  66. BigBangHunter says:

    – Jeff, I causriosly optimistic based on what I’m seeing here locally. Take note that:

    * Bumbblefuck did not use the word “gun”, nor many others he could have, in his photo-op teary eyed connercials and speeches in the last few days.

    * Dirty Harry walked all the gun rhetoric back to zero.

    * ALL of the local radio and TV stations, other than those associated with the big three Libturd networks, are ignoring the “narrative”, and going with full on mental health issues and support for the public.

    – It kind of looks like, at least at this point, that the anti-gun opportutists are taking it in the shorts bigtimw, and it appears that the WH gestappo is sensing its a losing battle.

    – For once it looks like the fuckheads have really stepped in it. Moore, and all the rest of the Commywood Liberals. have been walking a very shaky tightrope, and if anything good could possibly come out of this tradgedy, maybe the birdbrained public might finnaly wake up to how their being used for a change.

    – We can hope, and just keep on exposing the fat guy behind the curtin.

  67. cranky-d says:

We must remain vigilant. Never give them an opening. Anticipate their next move and counter it before they make it.

  68. newrouter says:

    SEEN ON FACEBOOK:

“What is the gun community going to do about this tragedy?”

“I dunno. What is the gay community going to do about Penn State?”

Ouch. But a fair response to unfair stigmatization. With the gay community, everyone would complain about smearing millions for the deviant and predatory behavior of a few.

Posted at 6:40 pm by Glenn Reynolds

IF I WERE IN CONGRESS, I’D INTRODUCE THIS JUST FOR FUN: Reader Jim Schuler writes: “What if we completely banned guns on all Federal grounds in DC? No one could have them, at all, no exceptions. Think of how safe and secure all our elected officials would feel in knowing that not even a police officer or secret service agent could get a gun near them!”

Posted at 6:35 pm by Glenn Reynolds

  69. happyfeet says:

    that’s brilliant

  70. LBascom says:

We must remain vigilant. Never give them an opening. Anticipate their next move and counter it before they make it.

    Cranky is Bruce Lee!

  71. BigBangHunter says:

“Be resilient and flow like water, not rigid like the bamboo tree. Bend but don’t break. Let your opponent believe hes swallowed you, then be a cickle cake in his throat.” – Brucw Lee, 1963

  72. happyfeet says:

I peeked at the cnn and the orgy is still in full swing

it find it to be so distasteful I can’t even tell you

  73. happyfeet says:

    *I* find it I mean

  74. LBascom says:

This is a defining moment in history happyfeet, and and the MSM has a definition to sell.

  75. leigh says:

Mara Liason just said on Bret Baier’s show that Joe Manchin never, ever, never puts more than three clips in his shotgun when he goes deer hunting.

I want one of those shotguns.

  76. newrouter says:

Mara Liason just said on Bret Baier’s show

fox should get proggtards what knows guns like elena kagan

  77. Merovign says:

If we’re going to ban anything, it should be people who spread cortisol poisoning everywhere they go, like Moore.

  78. dicentra says:

    Off-duty officer stops rampage.

    Yesterday.

I’d like to remind folks that when there was a mall shooting here in Utah, an off-duty cop forced the shooter to take cover and slowed if not stopped his rampage.

  79. BigBangHunter says:

    – Well its just fine with me if the dunbasses in the hive don’t have a clue they’re running the race on two broken legs and wearing lead boots. Let them drive their narrative bus over the cliff, right along with their failed disaster of an economy.

    – Give them all the rope they want.

  80. newrouter says:

don’t the folks who pushed “gun free” zones have alot blood on their hands at this point?

  81. happyfeet says:

the headline news says most killboys are guys in their 20s

so I don’t understand why they’re not limiting their draconian gun control to 20-something year old guys

it’s all about emotion with these people there’s no logical consistency

what’s ironic is cnn is arguably more emo than our killboy friends

  82. sdferr says:

. . . American outlets had been operating under a news blackout requested by NBC until today.

  83. LBascom says:

OT, I just got this from Drudge, and HOLY SHIT!

  84. cranky-d says:

I’ve read some of Bruce Lee’s stuff so it’s possible I was channeling him.

  85. BigBangHunter says:

    – The mental health truthiness is going to drown the Left in their own polemic cess pool. The mental health authorities are already stepping up their game. Just today they found some young dude out here in Californicate with a veritable arsenal of guns and ammo, and is considered “disturbed”.

    – Its a start.

  86. LBascom says:

Cranky, I might have been thinking of Andy Capp. Telling the cop “I thought he was going to hit me, so I hit him back first.”

  87. missfixit says:

well frankly I’m glad that the mental health issues are being unearthed. It is true that you can’t get anyone committed these days until they commit murder. I have a close relative with paranoid schizophrenia.
we were worried there was nothing that could be done until he picked up a weapon and killed someone. We were lucky that he was starving himself to death & it triggered some help. we were lucky

  88. LBascom says:

    Andy Capp.

  89. newrouter says:

a news blackout requested by baracky NBC until today

  90. newrouter says:

i still want a discussion on “gun free” zones. ax pelosi if she has blood on her hands?

  91. leigh says:

We have to make a decision about institutionaliziing dangerous persons for the greater good of society.

Missfixit, I have a crazy cousin, too and she was robbing her mother and grandmother blind to support her crazy habits. No one has seen her for years since no one will take her drunken ranting phone calls anymore.

  92. leigh says:

I hope they find the reporter fellow alive. We really need to get the fuck out of the Middle East.

  93. happyfeet says:

    ugh

  98. BigBangHunter says:

    – Megan can cry on my shoulder anytime she wants to.

  99. BigBangHunter says:

    – Yeh Nancy’s a real ‘giver’. She helped one mother with mental issues commit suicide.

  100. newrouter says:

it is sad about the babies. but eff if i’ma gonna let the proggtards steal liberty from me because of proggtard social policy. “gun free” peeps should die/look stupid.
made to look stupid is their shame

  101. happyfeet says:

I really hate tv I miss my netflix

  102. newrouter says:

I want one of those shotguns.

You don’t have one of those yet? Why not? They’re awesome for shooting Skjiet. Especially if you trade out the modified choke for a variable compensating muzzle brake. I like to use a wide-angle blue-dot holophonic sight for easy target acquisition. Combine that with 2 1/4 inch shells loaded with the zinc-copper alloy “cc” shot and you can bust all four clay birdies with one shot.

Ask slippery. I but he could tell you.

  104. Ernst Schreiber says:

    bet, butt, what’s the diff?

  105. happyfeet says:

I love watching stupidity usually I have a lot of vampire diaries to catch up on

  106. newrouter says:

  108. newrouter says:

the cspan morning show is good too

  109. leigh says:

I probably need to get one, Ernst but I don’t no if there’s room in the gun cabinet next to all those high capacity bullet drums and repeating revolvers with lever action.

Besides, I spent all my Christmas money on a caisson and cannon for the Hubby. That big pile of cannon balls is going to be hard to wrap.

  110. leigh says:

i’m lowering my nfl consumption too

You’re just bitter because the Stillers are sucking.

  111. Swen says:

Look up “attention whore” in Webster’s and you’ll find a picture of Michael Moore. And what could be more despicable than attention-whoring an attrocity like this? I mean! He’s actually claimed some of the limelight from Obama.

  112. palaeomerus says:

MM leeched off of Columbine too. This is his schtick.

  113. leigh says:

    He’s an emotional vampire.

  114. newrouter says:

You’re just bitter because the Stillers are sucking.

true but like i don’t care about the whole sports thing anymore. black peeps it is welfare, drugs, gov’t job, corp gov’t job or entertainment. them peeps don’t build nothing. the loss of productive citizens to proggtard victimization makes me cry.

  115. missfixit says:

funny. i thought it was just me losing my tolerance for sports. I was never a sports nut but in the last couple of years I’ve started actively loathing sports. When the world is going to hell and everyone around you is nattering on about college football, and organizing their whole lives around the games, you start thinking they are all insane or retarded.

  116. LBascom says:

I’m guessing Moore is proud to be an American when he reads this:

An active duty U.S. Marine Corps captain made history over the weekend by becoming the first gay man to pop the question to his partner at the White House.

Isn’t the present under oath to defend the DOMA act until legally changed?

  119. newrouter says:

everyone around you is nattering on about college football,

how many of the players should be in “college”? me the thug culture(see chuck knoll, who used “criminal element” about lynn swann) has made me turn. the tattoos, acting like 4 graders, the whole lot of negro ghetto culture leaves me with: i don’t care no more; you are on your own. your seiu/alinsky tatics don’t scare me.

  120. beemoe says:

see chuck knoll, who used “criminal element” about lynn swann

  123. newrouter says:

the oakland raider hit the ballet guy no problem. lynn had an allen west / tim scott / mia love problem.

  124. beemoe says:

Okay, yeah Atkinson put him in the hospital.

I thought you were saying Swann was the criminal element, which nothing could be further from the truth.

  125. Patrick Chester says:

Apparently “genocide” has gone the way of “racism,” “hate” and “rights.” No wonder poor ol’ Inigo doesn’t come around anymore.

    Inconceivable!

  126. Roddy Boyd says:

I think what we did to the Native Americans sucks. It’s asinine to call it genocide–the Armenians, Ukranians, Rwandans, Cambodians and the European Jews get to use that word with credibility–but it was plenty wrong and plenty disgusting.

Re Michael Moore: He’s an ass and troll bait. We diminish the good work of this site by juxtaposing the fool. Noam Chomsky and Amanda Marcotte are more serious.

  127. BigBangHunter says:

    – I worked with Swann back in the 70’s for a few months. Seemed like a nice guy.

  128. missfixit says:

amanda marcotte is more serious than moore? heh amanda is a lot more entertaining so there’s that

  129. Darleen says:

    oh fuck me …

the “my.barackobama.com” is still alive and I come home, pour a glass of wine and find a fucking email from fuckwit David Axelrod!

    Darleen —

Our hearts broke on Friday as we learned of the tragic and senseless deaths of 20 children and six adults at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.

Last night, President Obama addressed the families of Newtown, offering the love and prayers of a nation, and vowing to use whatever power his office holds to protect our children from such unthinkable acts of violence.

He spoke from the heart — as a president and a parent. Watch this speech:

embedded video with hyperlink below to Barry’s own Newtown page

As we reflect on the lives lost last week, we must also, as the President urged, consider how each of us can play a part in making our country worthy of the memory of those little children.

I hope you and the ones you love have a happy and safe holiday.

    Thanks,

    David

  169. Ernst Schreiber says:

Here’s a glittering jewel from the Reason piece palaeo linked:

Some gun-control advocates have voiced concerns that companies like Bushmaster are able to exploit loopholes in state versions of the 1994 Federal Assault Weapons Ban, which outlawed the sale of 19 types of military-style assault rifles. At the time, weapons like the Uzi and the Mac 10 were widely used in inner-city gang crime. [in Hollywood, maybe] The federal law lapsed in 2004 but many states have passed their own bans in the interim.

The loopholes in the law are evident in Connecticut, which has a state assault weapons ban modeled closely on the lapsed 1994 federal ban, said Ladd Everitt, spokesman for the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence. The Connecticut law bans certain assault weapon models that combine multiple features, such as a pistol grip and a barrel shroud, [!!!] which increase a gun’s lethality. [Somewhere, a sophist nods sagely]

“What’s happened is the gun makers figured out how to take their existing assault weapon models, modify them just a bit and bam, they can sell,” Everitt said. “If it has a grenade launcher and barrel shroud, you take the grenade launcher off and then you can sell it. If it has a pistol grip and some other banned feature, you drop one of them.”

What may be needed is a longer list of banned or forbidden gun models and single gun features that would render more assault weapons illegal to sell, Everitt said.

I can buy a grenade launcher? Why don’t you people tell me these things? Where do I go, and how much coin do I need?

  171. palaeomerus says:

“I can buy a grenade launcher? Why don’t you people tell me these things? Where do I go, and how much coin do I need?”

I think it’s the grenades you can’t buy. The launcher is just a tube, an actuator that hits the grenade or the grenade bullet if you have a really old one, and maybe an iron sight. It’s like a really big bore breakaway shotgun. I guess you could legally buy smoke and toned down signal flare rounds for one?

The M-203 kind that go on the bayonet lug or under barrel are sort of similar but again, i don’t think anyone will sell you any 40mm boom booms LEGALLY.

Of course I hear you can pick up some pretty crazy fireworks in Mexico.

    Via Instapundit:

    The Medium Is the Motive

Maybe there would be fewer mass shootings if there were no Second Amendment. But the same can be said of the First. A Washington Post story over the weekend crystallizes the point. Here are the opening paragraphs:

    Adam Lanza was his name.

Adam P. Lanza, 20, obscure in life, infamous in death.

A really rambunctious kid, as one former neighbor in Newtown, Conn., recalled him, adding that he was on medication. He was the son of an accountant. A family member told investigators that he had a form of autism, a law enforcement official said.

And he will long be remembered.

“He will long be remembered.” That suggests a fairly simple answer to the vexing question of why people do things like this: They do it for recognition. Given the media frenzies that followed Columbine, Virginia Tech, Aurora and the rest, they have every confidence of getting it.

‘Isn’t Obama AWFUL? I must vote for him. But it’s a real shame given how awful he is. Still I have emotions and they are important too. Despite how awful he is. ”

    This is more of that.

  181. palaeomerus says:

The gist of it all was the two links above the comments.

The analogy made is that that the “culture” of gun owners are just as responsible for the Newton mass shooting as the “community” of homosexuals are for the Penn State child rape scandal. Neither one has ANY responsibility. The whole groups is not guilty of the heinous actions of some particular individual criminal.

Alhouse’s observation is that the left is rushing to suggest that the first guilt by association is reasonable and acceptable while the second is so grotesque as to be unthinkable.

Yet she voted for Obama. Because feelings and woman’s intuition and stuff.

Speaking of genocides, by the by, the Syrian Christians are the odd men out, despite that they’ve been there longer than anyone can possibly remember: for when asked “Are you Sunni? Are you Shii?” they can’t answer in either affirmative, hence get it in the neck everywhichway from Sunday. They’ll be gone soon.

  184. LBascom says:

I’m not sure a religion qualifies as genocide, does it?

    Theolocide?

  185. sdferr says:

As a “genos” is a kind, the kind “Syrian Christian” is sufficient, if killed in toto, to qualify, I believe.

  186. palaeomerus says:

I think serious attempts to wipe out a group or serious conspiracy and planning towards such a goal counts kind count as genocidal action whether significantly successful or not. And I think driving people out of a region or society might also qualify if you do so by attacking and killing them until they leave.

  187. palaeomerus says:

And while decimation or halving a population or other proportional population culling might not be an attempt at genocide I think it still qualifies since you are killing people because they belong to or you identify them as belonging to a a group. Your goal may not be extinction but it is still a form of genocide.

And I suppose if you rounded a bunch of people up and sterilized them and let them go instead of killing them or expelling them,THAT would be a type of genocidal action too, though not a directly murderously violent one.

Where it gets tricky is when you make it voluntary and then make it attractive by subsidizing it and awarding people who submit to it. The is it being an accessory to a partial self-genocide.

Anyway I am creeping myself out by thinking like he NGO’s at the UN do. So enough of that.

  188. sdferr says:
