“UN vote is a boost to Palestinian statehood hopes”

This opens Israel up to endless prosecutions before the ICC, and gives a terror state the imprimatur of legitimacy.  Which was a predictable move in  the trajectory of transnational progressivism, the disease that will in the end kill off any free country, delegitimize national sovereignty, and create an untouchable permanent bureaucratic ruling class, a crony class, and the “masses” to be administered to in ways the betters see fit.

Sadly, many countries have abandoned Israel now merely to buy themselves a posture of supposed even-handedness.

“Never again” doesn’t mean what it used to, I guess.

They are really straining Israel’s tendency towards decency. If Israel were as indecent as the countries that surround it, those countries wouldn’t be a threat to Israel any more.

Nobody did shit to the UN when they stood around and watched Rawanda blow up. Why worry now? We don’t punish the UN for facilitating massacres. They’ll probably asked for more money and some taxing authority now. Garcon’ ? A round of peace prizes for the esteemed gentlemen at the front table please! And put it on the USA’s tab.

Either that or blow everything completely the fuck up and whoever is left can start over again.

    Yasser would be so proud!

Today the UN is expected to complete the journey it began in November 1974 when it invited a mass-murderer from Egypt to speak in its General Assembly. At the time Yasser Arafat said he brought with him an olive branch of peace, and a gun. To the day he died, Arafat turned down every opportunity to use the olive branch but never skipped a chance to use the gun.

It didn’t matter because by the time his hate-ravaged body gave out, the terrorist organization he led— the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) had already taught the world Arafat’s lesson—which was, “terrorism is a legitimate form of political expression.”

Suckled at the teat of western world appeasement and Arab petrodollars, the PLO begot many children including the radical Muslims who attacked us on 9/11 and today are still trying to destroy our way of life.

Today, with its vote to recognize Palestine as a non-member state the UN creates something out of nothing just as the Roman’s did two thousand years ago, when they changed the name of the Jewish State from Judea to Palaestina. As a slap in the face to those stiff-necked “Jews” who revolted against Roman rule too many times. They renamed their homeland using the name of an ancient Israelite Aegean enemy who disappeared from the region over five centuries before–all to ensure that the land lost its Jewish identity.

Folks used to make big-deal art of places named Guernica. Nowadays it becomes a YouTube video. (Caution: stark scenes of crushed and broken bodies of children.)

The fallout might be a problem, depending on wind patterns.

  8. You can’t be a failed state unless you are a state.

  9. Oh, and US out of the UN.

  10. And UN out of the US while we’re at it.

These days, the UN is reminding me of another socialist, anti-semitic organization.

Nobody gives a crap about the ICC, it’s a freakin’ joke.

So “Palestine” is a “state” is it? Well, then, it has certain responsibilities, and failing to meet them (say, sitting on the crazies) is cause for a declaration of war against the new state.

Which is exactly what Israel should do. Declare war, bomb the living crap out of Gaza, and force an exodus of the pali terror thugs into Egypt.
