    Heh. Too true.

  2. McGehee says:

We used to tell jokes about Clinton, and now Obama’s made them not so funny.

Will the next Democrat elected to the presidency be, literally, an empty chair?

  3. BigBangHunter says:

    – How would we be able to tell McGehee?

  4. BuddyPC says:

“Downturn has wiped out gains of last 30 years, Urban League says.”

Hmm. What happened 30 years ago?
Probably nothing. Merely an arbitrarily selected historical/chronological reference point.

  5. beemoe says:

“Will the next Democrat elected to the presidency be, literally, an empty chair?”

That would probably get my vote.

  6. leigh says:

That comparison to Clinton isn’t quite fair. Clinton is actually brilliant. An SOB, to be sure and a criminal, but of the mastermind variety.

Hell, they love him still and he’s an elder statesman now.

I’m sure they’ll embalm him and put him on display someplace for the masses to admire.

  8. cranky-d says:

I’m pretty sure that any depiction of Obama other than an official photograph of his august self is racist.

  9. leigh says:

I pity the portrait artist that will be commissioned to make his and Mechelle’s official portraits.

She’ll probably bitch when hers doesn’t look like Beyonce.

did you see the extreme-photoshopping Vogue did of Poodle Debbie WS in clothes worth $2k?

  11. leigh says:

Yes. I was all ‘Who the Hell is that?’ She lost about twelve inches off her hips, for starters. And no poodle hair? Ha!

I have a friend who took one for the team when Hillary’s book came out and went to a signing. She got up to the table to get her copy signed and innocently asked Hilda “Whose picture is that on the cover of your book?’

    Heh.
