“Honest discussions” have no place in American politics.
Republican privitization of Social Security will allow homosexual partners to be one another’s beneficiaries yet the right opposes same sex marriage. HYPOCRISY POLICE. WE’RE HERE TO HELP.
Assuming Ana is serious (and on this site, who can tell), it would actually be consistent. It’s their money, and if they don’t use it for their retirement, let them give it to whomever they want to. If they want to leave it to their cat, let them.
