The SWIFTBOATING of Dear Leader

Oh, the humanity! Quick, somebody have Oliver Willis drag his fat ass off the couch in the Media Matters break room and get to work debunking these ungrateful so-called former “soldiers,” many of whom I’m sure we’ll learn are rumored, say anonymous sources, to have drinking problems and to beat their wives regularly.  And even if they don’t, they’re thinking about it.

That is, have him get to work on this once he cleans the cream filling off his hands. No need to ruin a perfectly good keyboard because we’re in too much of a hurry. Again.

The only response from the Obama camp I’ve seen so far (though I haven’t done too much looking as yet) is this from a Breitbart article:

Responding to criticism about the president taking credit for the bin Laden raid, an Obama campaign official pointed to an interview with CNN last month in which Admiral Bill McRaven, commander of the raid, said: “At the end of the day, make no mistake about it, it was the president of the United States that shouldered the burden for this operation, that made the hard decisions, that was instrumental in the planning process, because I pitched every plan to him.”

“I think Admiral McRaven knows more about the President’s role in the bin Laden operation than this group,” the campaign official said.

Kinda looks like running to hide behind mommy’s skirts to me.

Why limit our selves to the Obama’s Osama Grandstanding (even if Valarie Jarrett tried to talk him out of even going after bin Laden), there are other aspects of his presidential legacy that Obama really does not want to talk about.

I’m curious what’s the severest crime the top of this Administration could be reasonably convicted of.

    – We should be empeaching the sumbitch, let alone letting him run for another term.

    – America has changed so completely in my lifetime I hardly recognize it anymore.

    – Back in the days of the cold war, when so many were working so hard, many giving their lives in the fight to bring down communism, if anyone would have predicted what we’ve seen for the past few years they would have been told they were simply crazy. Because it is fundementally insane.

There was a #SwiftQuoting hashtag a while back, this seems to fit.

    JHo,

Do you mean convicted by a reasonable justice system, or what we could reasonably expect from the present system? The two, sadly, are worlds apart.

This is a powerful video, and they hit Obama for many security leaks, not just the Bin Laden raid. These guys are really pissed, and it shows.
They need to make 30 & 60 second videos, too.

  10. Libby says:

There was one other response from the Obama team, and it’s not going to help their case: http://tinyurl.com/8upzl4v

“An Obama campaign official said: “No one in this group is in a position to speak with any authority on these issues and on what impact these leaks might have, and it’s clear they’ve resorted to making things up for purely political reasons.”

Yep, the intelligence community and the SEALS are absolutely clueless.

Now now, in Barry’s world, standing up to a woman like Jarrett is like throwing yourself on a grenade. He should pull a Kerry and award himself a medal.
