Don’t worry, you racist, bitter-clingers. Democrats have given up trying to turn your racey-racist heart [Darleen Click]

They just want your children.

Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer had some curious remarks last month about his own constituents – describing some of them as rednecks with a penchant for making racist comments.

Schweitzer told the Ohio Democratic Convention, “All over Montana, you can walk into a bar, a café or even a school or a courthouse and just listen for a while as people talk to each other, and you will hear somebody, before very long, say something outrageously racist about the people who have lived in Montana for 10,000 years.”

“I decided I can’t turn the heart of a 45-year-old redneck. But if we start early enough. If we start with a tender child — so we passed Indian Education for All.”

Mmmmmm … tender! Somehow I knew the Progressive agenda of To Serve Man was really a cookbook.

say something outrageously racist about the people who have lived in Montana for 10,000 years.”

10,000 years? Those are some old people in Montana.

Schweitzer isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed.

  2. EBL says:

But Schweitzer does like getting his grove on in NYC!

Hey, you can’t find that kind of hot cowboy action even in Missoula or Whitefish!

  3. Crawford says:

I wonder if the “Indian Education for All” will include the fact that there were people here before the Bering Strait Pedestrians?

  4. leigh says:

We have Indian Studies here, too. Corridor of kids who want easy classes with no homework allowing them to free up their time for more important matters like dealing weed.

  5. Squid says:

Isn’t “be nice to people” one of those lessons that traditionally resided outside the People’s Glorious Revolutionary Youth Programming Curriculum?

Funny, I never hear Chunkems Johnson going off on that creationism…

  7. Crawford says:

EBL — that particular religious doctrine is encoded in US law. But you won’t hear the “separation of church and state” and “freedom from religion” crowd bitch about it, either.

    Kennewick Man, anyone?

    Bering Strait Pedestrians

That’s kind of a “meh” band name. A little better than Dexy’s Midnight Runners, but not by much.

  10. BigBangHunter says:

    – Why do I get the feeling you could replace the word “racist” with “homophobe” in this jerkoffs comments and you’d be closer to the truthiness?…..Anyone?…..Bueller?

    – …..Because, well, in truth theres hardly anything you can post concerning the Left that’s off topic these days:

“But what they were really telling me….they were reminding me I have a 2 O’clock at the Botox emporium…..

    – And just in case I haven’t ruined enough of McGehee’s day already:

“….and I even wore the blue dress and everything….

    – Lets see….Mama Moose is away visiting the Queen…..you don’t suppose…..Nawwwww…

….Paging Mr Axelrod….Would David Axelrod please pick up the curtesy phone….London calling…..

  11. sdferr says:

Will we see justice done? Could be.

  12. leigh says:

    That’s good news sdferr.

  13. BigBangHunter says:

    – …and then you see things like this, and you don’t have to ask why the situation ever got this messed up in the first place.

    – So Zimmermann gets totally screwed over, but the local businesses avoid getting vandalized.

  14. B Moe says:

The comments came shortly after Schweitzer pointed out that his state is, according to him, entirely white and native American. He’s not far off. According to the last census, minorities only make up 8.2 percent of the state, most of them American Indians.

Schweitzer’s office clarified his comments saying in a statement to Fox News, “There are cultural dynamics that exist in many parts of our state and there are stereotypes that are perpetuated about our first Montanans that are unfair and untrue. Governor Schweitzer believes that we all have a lot to gain from learning about each other’s cultures, traditions and histories. History has shown this time-and-time again.”

Following on the heels of this groundbreaking initiative the governor is planning next year to introduce Red Headed Stepchildren Education for All and after that Big Tittied Blonde Chick Education for All

  15. Swen says:

Indian Education for All? If they’re looking for instructors I hear Ward Churchill is free.

  16. palaeomerus says:

    Outracistly Rageous

Yeah , that’s not a terrible band name.

Such as “keeping illegal aliens out of your turf?”

  18. EBL says:

Talking about wanting your children… Words and meaning do matter. Use them wisely.

  19. SGTTed says:

Yes, because nothing says “inclusive” quite like calling your white constituents “racist rednecks”.
