“Poor Eric Holder: He’s taking all this unwarranted flak just to protect Obama”

Nothing conservative / classically liberal / constitutionalist / concerned American citizens do is ever, ever what it seems:  instead, there’s a vast, racist, right-wing conspiracy (most recently and infamously carried out by southern Democrats nearly a half-century ago, so deep goes the roots of the conspiracy) that seeks always and forever to take power from goodly, well-intentioned progressives by any means necessary — and to do so based on nothing substantive, but rather because conservative / classically liberal / constitutionalist / concerned Americans, who don’t really care about policy, or dead Border Patrol agents, or dead Mexican civilians, or arming drug cartels while simultaneously suing states for trying to police their borders, simply want to keep the brothers down, or keep women down, or keep undocumented workers down, or keep gays down, or dirty the air and water, or turn their backs on the autistic, or cut Granny off at the knees, stuff her in a chair, then throw her over a cliff.

That is, conservative / classically liberal / constitutionalist / concerned American citizens — defined as those who don’t support the progressive agenda being implemented by a President who sold himself as a healer and a pragmatic centrist — are evil, haters, unthinking thuggish dullards clinging to their guns and religion who care nothing about the kind of fundamental change necessary to make our nation great, but would rather take us backward to the time when people were free to destroy the environment or make massive sums of money, denying others their fair share.

This is the belief of the people who right now rule over all of us:  they are partisans who dismiss all criticism as invalid, coming as it does from such racist, misogynistic, xenophobic fundamentalist haters — and in so doing, have given themselves the permission not to take blame for any of their actions.  Responsibility is thus rationalized away, and putative intentions mean everything, including the tyrannical, authoritarian impulse to let the ends justify the means.

Because the goodly gooders stand against conservatism and classical liberalism and constitutionalism, they are standing against evil.  And by standing against evil, they are inherently, and by dint of their political leanings, good.

It follows, then, that attacks on them are attacks on goodness, and who would attack goodness solely for being good?  Evil haters.  So fuck ’em if they don’t want to get with the progressive program.

Forward!

    And again. And again.

    These people are pathological.

  2. B Moe says:

With the keen grasp of a razor-sharp legal mind, Holder told the Washington Post, “I’ve become a symbol of what they don’t like about the positions this Justice Department has taken.”

I wonder which is stupider, Holder or Obama.

  3. Darleen says:

In Dennis Prager’s book “Still the Best Hope” he states the Left has to attribute bad/evil motives to the non-Left.

Otherwise, their whole raison d’etre falls apart.

Today we have another article detailing shades of the ongoing cover-up: Holiday fireworks as Grassley reveals crucial ATF memo

At this point, I have to own my role in the story: I was careless on Twitter, ignored some warning signs, and realized too late that my followers weren’t the only ones watching me.

That alone … that somehow OTHER PEOPLE were watching his Twitter feed … proves this guy is too stupid (as well as racist & venal) to be allowed to call himself a “journalist”

  6. serr8d says:

Oh, my. Don’t tell jeff’s old and uptight Professor Brian Kiteley about even the existence of this video.

Well, yes, particularly that Mexican Cartel gun supplier position.

To say nothing of his Napoleon the Pig’s view of justice.

  9. Ernst Schreiber says:

Holder’s a pimp. Everybody knew this from his last stint in Justice.

Poor Joe Williams, devastated by words, on the internet. He should hire Neal R and his sidekicker BK. they know how to deal with that “small cabal of self-appointed watchdogs” who “only care about their agenda: harassing, undermining, discrediting and embarrassing people who don’t agree with their view of the world.

  11. Pablo says:

Joe is a tortured soul indeed. Look what this bitch made him do!

“Otherwise, their whole raison d’etre falls apart.”

    – If thats all they’re worried about they can relax. Their dumbassed counter-culture ideology was dead at conception. (Somewhere in the spring of ’69).

  13. Merovign says:

    1) The left’s generalized defense of F&F has solidified my view that, as an entirety, they have no principles they will not abandon in a heartbeat, including valuing human life (perhaps especially).

    2) We don’t need a small cabal of self-appointed watchdogs, we need a giant crowd of watchdogs destroying the corrupt majority of the so-called “journalism” profession. That corruption has damaged freedom as much as if not more than its obvious enemies.

  14. sdferr says:

“. . . they have no principles they will not abandon in a heartbeat, including valuing human life (perhaps especially).”

With perhaps the proviso that there does seem a unifying thread in each abandonment of principle, this being the will to acquire and keep power, whatever may be the price.

Somehow or other, sometime or other, it seems as though the political left learned a bad lesson, and not even a true lesson at that. Namely, they think they learned that one cannot implement one’s higher (so goes the jargon) principles in the absence of the possession of power. So they concluded, power must come first and always first. It’s a short road to the abandonment of their ‘higher’ motives from there. Power transforms from a means to an end.

  15. Merovign says:

It’s always about Power and Control.

And there’s always more power and control to be had, so you never get to the “higher purpose” part. All means and no end.

  16. palaeomerus says:

Valerie Plame would want you to suck it up and not whine.

Neither the President nor the whitehouse are above the law. And we must investigate ALL serious charges with an independent prosecutor to maintain an appearance of respectability and transparency in the executive.

So, SUCK IT UP and DEAL.

You idiots on the left DEMANDED what you are trying to poo-poo now over a MUCH LESS serious problem.

200+ Mexicans and a dead border patrol agent as a direct result of a gun running scam badly disguised as a sting to support political agitation for further limitations on the 2nd amendment is MUCH worse than Richard Armitage “outing” a public CIA analyst who is NOT undercover and NOT in the field and who along with her ambassador husband, COMMONLY TOLD PEOPLE what she did before suddenly deciding it was dangerous and irresponsible for anyone to know if it would somehow hurt George Bush.
