Like “marriage”, “born” is a relative term. Even the landmark Roe v Wade decision did not address the question of when a child can actually be considered to be “born.” Thus, we have live, botched aborted babies gasping for air in linen closets.
And “natural born” opens a whole new can of worms. E.g., can Cesarean be considered “natural”?
“Natural born” has been defined just never enforced at a certain level. But wait till Sen. Rubio is picked as the VP or the top slot someday, then there will be lefty birthers and they will get media help.
From the comments at the link Reuters certainly opened itself to quite a bit of criticism. Shame they will simply ignore it.
I was born in Germany, in a military hospital to American parents. Flew back when I was 6 mos. old.
I didn’t have to apply for citizenship, didn’t have to take any tests. I was a natural born citizen.
Even if Obama were born in Kenya the same rules apply, he is still a natural born fool. I mean citizen.

Not according to the law that was in effect at that time. Congress had a law that was put in place due to all the young men we had overseas in the service which had requirements for citizenship to be granted to a child born outside the US with one foreign and one US citizen parent. Obama would not have qualified for US citizenship under that law if he had been born in Kenya because of his mothers age and a calculation that the law had about years spent in the US. If he was born in the US then no problem.
You had two US citizen parents and so were not subject to this law.
That said I do not believe he was born in Kenya. I do however strongly believe he is hiding something big in all this mess.

Conspiracy theories abound on this one. I read a new (to me) one the other day: Typical White Person granny is actually Buh-rock’s mother. He is the product of a jungle fever tryst that granny had and was passed off as Stanley Ann’s child to save face for Typical White Person gramps. Granny was 37 when his nibs was born, so it is possible, albeit, improbable.
If he’d just cough up all his documents, we could get this sorted.
I will repeat what I have often said…
I have no doubt that Barack Obama was born in Hawaii. But he was not RAISED as an American kid. His formative years were in Indonesia and under the tutelage of a woman who did not love her own native country, and upon his return, he immediately associated himself with those who hated this country for whatever reason. “Of any stripe”.
He is a citizen, but he isn’t an American. At least, when he says “My Fellow Americans”, he says it in a way meant to exclude me and everyone I know.
So.
But, but, but… HORSE BALLET!
F*ck this. There will be blood in the streets before 2025. The most basic trade goods will be ammo and alcohol and anyone who can make both will be the nouveau riche…
