Rabbi Avi Weiss of the Coalition for Jewish Concerns is calling for a boycott of The New York Times. Weiss is upset about what he feels has been the Times’ disproportionate coverage of the Palestinian viewpoint with regards to recent events in the Middle East, and so he’s asking people not only to cancel subscriptions, but to refrain from purchasing obits, wedding announcements, and classified ads — a large source of the paper’s revenue.

I’ve been boycotting them since the Ted Tall “Terror Widow” cartoon. I’m sure they give a damn, right? But I do it anyway.
Power to the people.
