I worked at Y-12 and X-10 from March 1993 to July 1995. Yhe security at Y-12 was very tight, especially after the Oklahoma City bombing.

Oh, yeah, radiation does affect digital. There are some areas in the X-10 olant that have video cameras and they have to be replace often because the radiation burns them out. But it doesn’t happen right away, unless the radiation is very high.
