“New Black Panther Party Issues ‘Wanted Dead or Alive’ Posters for George Zimmerman”

Lynch the (half) Beaner!

The Left’s longed-for race war / class war appears to be heading for a jump start ahead of those planned summer OWS protests.   Only it could be a war that pits Blacks against Hispanics — all because this puffy Zimmerman character didn’t have the good sense to have a name that sounds, to those eager to push certain narratives, half Peruvian rather than quite white and quite Germanic and possibly even quite Jewish.  Which could pose a problem for erstwhile OUTRAGED Democrats in a heavily Hispanic swing state.

My, but the President, never one to miss an opportunity for racial demagoguery,  must be so torn…!

At last reading, the First Amendment makes not provision for inciting to riot.

  2. McGehee says:

Leigh, you have to read between the lines. Obviously since those inciting to riot believe in a morally superior ideology, they are right to do so and any attempt to prevent them doing so is by definition wrong.

You just can’t trust a document written a hundred years ago in funny Olde Englishe by a bunch of dead guys who dressed funny and spelled “express” with two F’s.

  3. leigh says:

    Well, carry on then.

  4. palaeomerus says:

The New Black Panther PArty should be billed for Mr. Zimmerman’s security provisions.

  5. sdferr says:

This George Zimmerman cat doesn’t really look the part of the sacrificial virgin, does he? Ah well, close enough. Into the volcano with him anyhow: we’re in a hurry and got no other proper volunteers near to hand.

  6. palaeomerus says:

What if the hispanic community gets pissed off about it? Have the Black Panther’s and Sharpton thought that through? They represent a lot more votes and power. They’d come out on top if they wanted to. It would be a HUGE set back for race hustling in general.

Obviously you’re misreading the Ammendment, as this clearly constitutes “Redress of grievances”…

  8. leigh says:

Once again the Black Panthers are more into the nuance of historical documents than I can ever hope to be.

  9. McGehee says:

Well, as long as they assemble peaceably they’ve followed the letter of the First Amendment, so there’s that.

  10. leigh says:

McGehee who knew that the Founders were cool with putting a bounty ($10,000) on a guy who hasn’t even been charged?

  11. palaeomerus says:

I still don’t know what happened but I’m feeling pretty lied to about this whole thing.

First we somehow go from white attacker to white hispanic attacker. What?

We hear about two shots that later gets taken down to one shot and one unknown loud noise. We hear that Martin was screaming before he was shot and later this gets changed to being Zimmerman screaming or help. The first sharp loud noise described as a shot is not identified but is no longer called a first shot.

We hear some breathy unintelligible mumbling supposedly about “coons” (which BTW as a “white” man I can honestly say is a term I almost NEVER actually hear spoken aloud from other “white” men in the context of referring to black people) AFTER some kind of sound filtering “clears it up”.

Then we find out that racist Zimmerman who hates blacks actually has several black relatives.

THEN we find out that pesky wanna be Barney Fife policeman Zimmerman is the block captain for Neighborhood Watch and has caught two criminals prior to this and that the neighborhood has has several robberies and a shooting recently meaning people were on edge.

Then we hear that Martin was staying with his father who had grounded him after a 5 day suspension from school for tardiness and that he was not well known in the neighborhood. (Which would make people who live there wonder why he’s there.)

We are constantly shown a picture of an 10-12 year old kid. The kid is 17 and 6′ 2″. Now I hear that he is 140 Lb.s so he’s not bulky but he’s not 12 either like the pictures I keep seeing. He was on a high school football team so there really should be some more recent pictures of him. Not using them to convey a false sense of what happened to prejudice everyone against Zimmerman seems akin to the faked Palestinian funeral news report crap. If you want justice for Martin it’s a dumb move because it makes you look like you are hiding something and only telling part of the story. Whether this is his parent’s decision or the press, it needs to stop.

George followed and then wait…maybe did not follow the kid. No one can seem to agree on this point. Then we hear that Martin may have attacked Zimmerman as he was returning to his truck.

Now there is a witnesses that Martin was beating on Zimmerman on the ground and injuries on Zimmerman seem to confirm this. The police also seem to have noticed this which is why they allowed for the stand your ground defense initially.

Again, the facts are already changing a lot from what I was initially shown and this is starting to look like another Duke Rape case where a lot of people try to tell me the story before I can be confused by any inconvenient facts that blow that story out of the water.

The useless picture I have cobbled together now is that Zimmerman saw Martin wandering around and and did not recognize him and tried to see where he went and informed the police of his attempt. Martin saw Zimmerman following him and presumed that he was up to no good and being 17, instead of getting indoors and calling the police, he confronted the guy. For whatever reason, this ended in him pinning Zimmerman and smacked him around while a neighbor went in to call the police and finally Zimmerman realized that no one was going to help him and the kid was not going to quit and he shot him killing him. Was the kid trying to take his gun away? Who knows?

The narrative that Zimmerman is white seems to be pretty questionable in the way that the media usually applies the term. “White hispanic” sounds like they are saying no ‘indian’ or ‘polynesian’ blood and yet that is NOT what Zimmermans appearance suggests.

The narrative that Zimmerman just hates black people being in his nice Florida neighborhood seems kind of made up and not easily consistent with the fact that he has black family members.

The narrative that he chased the kid down after being told not to by police and shot the kid after he screamed and begged for mercy because he doesn’t like black people and he’s a wannabe cop seems to be total BULLSHIT and probably libelous.

Little mention was given that there was recent crime in the area and no one seemed to want to mention that Zimmerman was the crime watch guy in the area and that he had previously caught two people breaking in.

I smell a media scam here. Sharpton ought to be ashamed of trying to help turn this into a fat Florida white racist redneck pretending he’s a cop and virtually hunting a poor 12 year old black kid for sport shooting once and then after he screams shooting him again while on the phone? Good Lord.

I think a kid probably thought he was being stalked and reacted badly by trying to handle it himself. Meanwhile a guy on edge thought he had someone casing the neighborhood and didn’t wait for the police.

They clashed both having a poor idea of what was really going on but having multiple warning signs that supported their own assumptions and one of them got killed by the other who didn’t like getting beaten up.

Now Obama is trying to make political lemonade with it without exposing himself to grief if it blows up in his face

Meanwhile Zimmerman is not even charged with anything and the press wants him convicted on TV.

So the only real question now is, how will Romney blame this on bellicose tea party rhetoric.

All I know is, if Al Sharpton is on one side, the truth is most likely on the other.

  13. leigh says:

    Tawanda Brawley anyone?

  14. Dave J says:

What do Sharpton, Jackson, NBP and POTUS have to say about this case that has been ALL OVER the media:

You must be talking about some other Al Sharpton, palaeomerus. The well known one does that stuff with no shame whatsoever.

Progressives Tweet George Zimmerman’s Address, Issue Death Threats

    Spike Lee among the retweeters.

  17. leigh says:

The FBI better get him and his wife in the witness protection program since they decided to stick their noses into this case.

  18. Crawford says:

“The narrative that Zimmerman just hates black people being in his nice Florida neighborhood seems kind of made up…”

Particularly after the black neighbors praised him for his work on the neighborhood watch.

  19. ThomasD says:

The Aryan Nation lost their shirts, and a prime slice of real estate, when a couple people ended up injured over their incitements.

Should any ill befall Zimmerman or his family I sure hope the NBPP and Spike Lee get taken for every penny they have.

  20. McGehee says:

Will anybody tweet Spike Lee’s home address?

  21. Jeff G. says:

Did Spike Lee Tweet out this guy’s address?

  22. Jeff G. says:

    wow. Just now saw it.

    What a fucking clown.

  23. palaeomerus says:

I’m going to guess that if any legal issues come up the poster will be just be a piece of art conveying protected political speech about a public figure and there will be no evidence of any money held in escrow for the purposes of hiring an illegal capture and holding of an American citizen who has not yet been charged with a crime by agents of a private organization with no legal authority of any kind.

  24. palaeomerus says:

The problem is not that they are strong. The problem is that we’ve become very weak supposedly because we wouldn’t need to be strong any more. The president is fiddling with the definition of legal and everyone is letting him get away with. The media calls people who notice it idiots, crazies, liars, and racists.

And who do we send into this ? Romney?

    Shit.

  25. Swen says:

I’m not sure how the “stand your ground” law pertains. After all, it’s difficult to retreat when you’re pinned to the ground.

    Here is the Florida statute.

“The narrative that Zimmerman just hates black people being in his nice Florida neighborhood seems kind of made up…

”Particularly after the black neighbors praised him for his work on the neighborhood watch.

Also since the neighborhood appears to be about half black, the kids Dad lived there, after all.

Paleo at 2:26 – I’m with you. My spousal unit was lathered up about this last week. I told her that I’d sure like to see the facts. And I’m pretty sure those pesky facts aren’t the ones that first came out.
This may not only be a manufactured controversy; it is starting to smell like the opening gambit in the upcoming Summer of Love.
