It’s okay, no need to worry:

The Democrats have decided they’ll battle evil Republican attempts to take away your free health care by dispatching “Truth Squads” to educate you.

And honestly, who can you trust if you can’t trust a Democrat politician.

#winning!

Orwell continues to be correct in his dystopian predictions. Let’s dispatch the “Truth Squads” because the propaganda spewed by the MBM isn’t sufficient to make people believe in progressive policies.

Progressives seem to be immune to irony.

  2. Ernst Schreiber says:

Democratic members of Congress revealed Monday that they believe the popularity of Obamacare is tied to the benefits Americans will receive from the new entitlement – benefits they say Republicans would have to “take away.”

How long before the Romney people sense an opportunity to shoot themselves in the foot?

Hey! We can hand out “free” shit too!

  3. newrouter says:

The Four Minute Men were a group of volunteers authorized by the President Woodrow Wilson, to give four-minute speeches on topics given to them by The Committee on Public Information. The topics dealt with the American war effort in the First World War and were presented during the four minutes between reel changing in movie theaters across the country.

    Truth Squads?

Can’t wait to see the snappy uniforms!

  5. sdferr says:

There’s hardly any wonder why incompetence is such a highly valued characteristic in partisan politics, is there? Ya gotta believe to carry the water, but believing the pap that goes for political thought these days means being an imbecile to begin with. So as a marker for just such imbecility, proven incompetence makes a handy-dandy handle. There goes one now! Grab her!

  6. Ernst Schreiber says:

Some good news to brighten an otherwise dreary day.

  7. Ernst Schreiber says:

It’s not incompetence. It’s what Theodore Dalrymple referred to as “competence of a very high order.”

You just think it’s incompetence because you’ve been told that arrangements have been made for your benefit; arrangements that you’re not supposed to benefit from, because the actual beneficiaries have arranged it that way.

  8. George Orwell says:

The Obama faction decided the name “Ministry of Love” was just too avant-garde and transgressive for 21st century America.

  9. sdferr says:

I can’t help but disagree anyhow Ernst. These “beneficiaries” lay the seeds of their own destruction right along with the destruction of the rest of matters around them. They may not know it yet, but why would that surprise anyone?

  10. Ernst Schreiber says:

They know it, sdferr, they just don’t care.

In the long run, we’re all dead.

  11. mojo says:

Hey, how do I join up with a “Truth Squad”? Does it pay well? I assume you don’t actually have to believe the tripe you’re dishing out, I mean, what would be the point of THAT?

  12. Squid says:

“You are mortgaging your grandchildren’s tomorrows so that you can have ‘free’ pills today. I hope you’re proud of yourselves.”

That should shut ’em up quick.

  13. Ernst Schreiber says:

Since the point of giving the pills away is that it’s cheaper to give pills away than it is to pay for the little darlings in the first place, isn’t it fair to ask, whose grandchildren? what tomorrow?

  14. Squid says:

I was trying to address the AARP crowd that’s going to be lighting up Congressional switchboards to protest their precious pill program being cut back. Heavens forfend that we cut into Grandma’s beauty-and-bingo budget…

  15. Ernst Schreiber says:

    My mistake.

  16. palaeomerus says:

    The truth is “shut up”.

Are people like Beckel allowed to say just anything?

I think it is about time these motherfuckers be held accountable for this shit.

  20. TaiChiWawa says:

Are they calling it the War on Error?

Hey look, there it is again.

    really

They’re seriously trying to hold people’s health care coverage hostage by deliberately withholding facts from them and painting it as a “LOOK GOP’S TAKIN YOUR STUFF”?
