There’s hardly any wonder why incompetence is such a highly valued characteristic in partisan politics, is there? Ya gotta believe to carry the water, but believing the pap that goes for political thought these days means being an imbecile to begin with. So as a marker for just such imbecility, proven incompetence makes a handy-dandy handle. There goes one now! Grab her!
Some good news to brighten an otherwise dreary day.
It’s not incompetence. It’s what Theodore Dalrymple referred to as “competence of a very high order.”
You just think it’s incompetence because you’ve been told that arrangements have been made for your benefit; arrangements that you’re not supposed to benefit from, because the actual beneficiaries have arranged it that way.
The Obama faction decided the name “Ministry of Love” was just too avant-garde and transgressive for 21st century America.
I can’t help but disagree anyhow Ernst. These “beneficiaries” lay the seeds of their own destruction right along with the destruction of the rest of matters around them. They may not know it yet, but why would that surprise anyone?
