“The hour’s late. The time is now. And the nation needs you like never before.”
Think about it: what the OccupyDC mob tried to overrun last evening was in essence a call for the restoration of individual freedom and autonomy.
That is to say, the mob was, by its actions, actually protesting against unalienable rights and the rule of law — the fundamental building blocks of a society that offers equality of opportunity and freedom for the individual that no government can take away.
The hipsters love them The Man. And their underlying message is, enslave us — just so long as you promise to take care of us, too.

32 minutes? I believe I might need to top off this drink and have a smoke first. Then I’m on it.
It’s such a good speech it DEMANDS KayInMaine listen to it.
Not done yet but Levin is really killing it so far.
It’s on, as the kids like to say. The only question now is not if we hit the wall, but how hard and who bleeds.
It’s gonna be you and not me is what I’m thinking. Down twinkle all you like.
It’s also worth noting the trash that tried to storm this joint, though I need not detail the “band of miscreants and malcontents” here, as they’re evident a few posts down.
“Barack Obama hates you, which is why I love you.”
Well played. Mr. Levin.
The crowd shots seem to me to reveal a high female to male ratio in the audience (my tip-off to look was the high pitch of crowd responses).
– My theory is, the few among them that are doing it all for a living instead of being true believers, you know, the ones that are always somewhere else when the serious shit hit’s the fan, they know what’s coming, and they know they’re about to take it in the shorts big time because no one is going to forget all the lies they were fed or the tremendous mess O’fuck has made.
– And it won’t work, and it will get some people hurt, maybe killed, but they don’t give a shit.
– Life is so easy without principles. Easy, but short.
I am pro defending the dream
– Yeah, and you know, we took up a kitty and payed her to come back after the debate was over and give us all BJ’s.
– Isn’t that just like a Progressive, to suck and run.
just so long as you promise to take care of us, too.
The cake is a lie.

I love me some vintage Supertramp. Wish I could whistle the intro from “Easy Does It.”
Compare & Contrast.
Bachmann thinks Cain lacks in governing strength. But really Michele with one ell? Does he lack an understanding of American political philosophy? Does he fail to understand that professional politicians have brought the country to the ghastly peril it is in right now?
The man has a voice that belongs in the newpapers, but he was spot on.

I have to listen to it every day, because talk radio,”angers too many people.” I loathe the rock and roll I grew up with.
Bashar Al-Assad celebrates Eid by killing more of his people. Does Obama even notice? Who can tell?
Obama values, 2004. Staying true to his VALUES!
Gag-a-licious.
Chris Wallace’s breastpocket handkerchief thinks it’s well past time Herman Cain shambles off the stage. Get with the program, people. There isn’t any dream to defend.
Just finished listening … Levin hit all the points …
The Left’s take-away from this speech — THE TEABAGGERS WANT DIRTY AIR, DIRTY WATER AND UNSAFE FOOD & CARS!!! BURN THEM!
I know that some people go on the defensive when this inevitable, but risible, misdirection is thrown out.
We cannot be on the defensive, we must stay on the offense.
Didn’t Dear Leader take credit for Libya? Has he stopped doing a victory lap yet?
My fav Supertramp song. Lyrics.
The happy darkies singin’ of an evening down on the plantation..
