Broken clocks, still Waters

Finally, a “progressive” idea I can get behind!

Of course, many of us on the “extremist fringe” of the right wing extremist fringe’s extremist fringe spent those days leading up to the Boehner compromise — which, you’ll recall, was going to save our credit rating and keep us from “defaulting” — flexing our puristy Emotion Muscles, demanding that the GOP stick with Cut, Cap, and Balance, not yet again strike some worthless, toothless, damaging compromise that would only delay the reckoning, not address it in any significant way.

And some people still haven’t figured out how a businessman with no real political experience can possibly be the GOP frontrunner…

    These cuts are dead on arrival it seems. Even the ‘mandatory’ cuts, if the Supercommittee can’t agree on any negotiated bipartisan cuts, will be cut. Because neither side can stand for any cutting cuts.
