Most transparent Administration ever upfront, honest, and forthrigtht about unwillingness to release President's Solyndra correspondence

Executive privilege, you see.

Not terribly surprising, this. But the best part is, those of us on the right who remember the screeching and howling from the “progressive” mainstream press when Dick Cheney refused to release notes from his meeting with oil industry executives — a 3-year battle that culminated in Supreme Court hearing — don’t have to do a damn thing now.

Instead, we can just sit back, relax, and wait for the left to either apply pressure on the chief executive — involved in what may very well be a pay for play scam that cost the taxpayers over half a billion dollars, not just routine meetings between a government official and members of the private energy sector — or else reveal yet again their revolting, cynical, partisan-fueled hypocrisy.

So far, the silence from the left is deafening.

And telling. If you were somehow not already convinced of the rank opportunism and phony transparency concerns of the political left, that is.

The lefties consider pay for play to be business as usual. Everyone does it. Our response would be, I think, “How about no one does it?”

    Solyndra, the old school.
