"On Day 938 of his presidency, Obama says he’ll have a jobs plan in a month or so"

— Which, I realize that seems a bit … tardy. But in fairness to the President, perhaps he’s planning on releasing the plan to coincide with the promised release of his former China ambassador (and Bush favorite) John Huntsman’s economic plan.

Must just be a “top tier candidate” thing.

We wouldn’t understand.

Unless “we” are Hugh Hewitt, I mean.

How does that go, “Only an intellectual could believe that; no ordinary man could be that foolish.”? That’s what I see in the political establishment, and that’s why I think they need to be removed and sent to a nice, quiet rest home. We’ll take it from here guys.

  3. JD says:

I guess the new plan will be to simply stand on the throat of the economy, as opposed to jumping up and down really hard on the throat of the economy.

  4. dicentra says:

Obama’s economic plan should be forestalled at all costs.

The less he does, the better.

We wouldn’t be alone in that.

In a lot of companies, it takes over a year to build the paper trail to justify firing an underperforming employee. When the employee is an affirmative-action hire, it can take even longer.

In the case of our country’s current general manager, I can see the paperwork gathering already. I’d say that in another year, we should be well on our way to removing him.

Then he can spend his full time and attention on playing golf and getting his terrorist friends to write him another autobiography.

  7. Slartibartfast says:

I suspect what we’ll see next month is a plan to come up with the plan. What we have now is a plan for a plan for a plan.

I’m starting to respect Mr. Obama’s managerial skills, now. That’s some high-grade bullshit.

  8. To be fair, it’s another job plan rather than a job plan. Remember, his primary focus has been on jobs for a long time. Good thing we got al those shovels left over from when the shovel ready jobs didn’t materialize, because it’s going to start getting deep in here.

  9. JD says:

I suspect he will play Team R like a banjo with this “plan”. He already told them what he plans on doing, running against Congress.

I hear now and again Republican strategists suggesting Obama should go on vacation, give himself and the country a break from his greatness, they say. How foolish these Republicans strategists are.

What we need now, more than ever, is Barry twenty-four seven. Consequently, I urge his advisors to extend his magnificently successful BusTour, and indeed, find some way for him to give more speeches and appearances per day. It’s the only way forward. Praise Jesus.

I might consider voting for Obama for Congress, if it meant getting him out of the White House.

    …running against Congress.

Funny thing is, I’m right with the President on this one. Boo, Congress!

  13. McGehee says:

I’d be pro-congress, if Congress weren’t trying to have congress with me.

He must be finally getting close to the 18th hole.

So O! is going to run against the “do nothing” Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi?

Remember, my fellow Americans, Congress did not do anything to help those years when my party held massive majorities in both houses! My party dominates the Senate and hasn’t even proposed a budget in over 800 days! And they shot mine down 97-0!….uh, wait a minute….

We really need to infiltrate the teleprompter programmer’s guild.

  17. Dave in SoCal says:

I predict that the new Obama plan will consist of “investments — to extend unemployment benefits and payroll tax cuts and to rebuild the nation’s roads, bridges and other union-made infrastructure kinds of stuff”.

But I’m just a “go for broke”, “live on the razor’s edge” kind of guy that way.
