Meetups for The Undefeated [guest post by Motionview]

I do not believe Jeff has decided who to support for the Republican nomination in 2012. I have not. While working on the FireFifty campaign in 2009/2010 I did commit to supporting that candidate for 2012 who did the most work in 2010 to take the House away from the socialists (imagine the Pelosi Progs still in charge). In my opinion that was clearly Palin, so at this point I am waiting. Not much longer; for the other side this campaign started a long, long time ago.

Anyway, Friday July 15th is the public opening of the film, there is a list of theaters here. Commenter Molan Labe suggested a pw meetup for the Colorado screening. I will repost his meetup in the comments and add one for Orange County, CA.

I would imagine there will be a number of groups forming meetups for the movie, and some of them might be there for direct action protests that began peacefully righteous demonstrations. Bring your camera/video/phone and expect that anything you say to a OFA organizer union thug smelly hippie person who would protest as a brain dead zombie at a Special Olympics ceremony peaceful, well-intentioned demonstrator is on tape.

  3. Bob Reed says:

Well, I’d like to join y’all, but it’s a fur piece from NYC; where I’m almost certain that Palin’s movie will be, at best, sparingly aired…

But fortunately, there is always nearby Long Island, where there are islands of knuckle-dragging :)

Still, it’s hard to say where I’ll be on opening night. As is par for the course in the summer, I have too many familial obligations to keep up with; especially this summer.

But best wishes to all who can attend!

If anyone is interested in a Kansas City meet-up, leave a comment and we can work out a way to communicate about it. I hesitate to leave even one of my alias email addresses in an open comment forum.

  5. Seth says:

Well, Motion, I think that Palin will jump in an another few weeks…frusturating as it may be, it doesn’t hurt her to bide her time a bit. We’re still more than a year out from the election….

Mr. Wint: Shady Foot. Shady, we just adored your act.

    Mr. Kidd: What taste. Style.

Mr. Wint: And we have a few suggestions.

Mr. Foot: Critics and material I don’t need. I haven’t changed my act in forty years.

  7. Grapevine!? GRAPEVINE!?? I might could do it.

“Okay I’m a run for president,” said Sarah Palin with a certain amount of resolve.

“Are you sure Sarah? We don’t want you to do anything hasty on our account.”

“Yes I’m definitely sure. We talked about it on the boat, me and my family.”

“That’s awesome news Sarah we’re very excited for you to start the campaignings.”

“Me too this is gonna be fun!”

    “Yay!”

Kennesaw? Seriously? Gwinnett County is the founding county of the Georgia Republican rebirth. Discover Mills would be more fittin’.

You can bet that Kennesaw is a slap at Gingrich as I believe it was in his original district. So, you go girl! I could be persuaded to a meetup in Kennesaw, if the right dinner was to follow or precede.. say Williamson Bros BBQ or something equally knuckle-dragging (pork eatin not spending). And some Sweetwater Ale. What say you Georgia Outlaws?

  11. Darleen says:

I’m not far from the OC theater.

  12. Stephanie says:

BTW it opens on the same day as Harry Potter’s latest… should be interesting.

  13. I Callahan says:

It’s not showing in Michigan just yet. I’m hoping that changes. If so, are there any Michigan residents who’d be interested?

  14. Wolf says:

If Sarah Palin gets into the race before something like July 27, the MoveOn bozos will bury her in new bogus ethics complaints because the two-year deadline will not have passed.

People like “happyfeet” making like she should walk right into that kind of enemy fire just to suit them, are idiots.

  15. geoffb says:

    SW Michigan here.

from Molon labe in the fundraiser thread:

My stunning wife Tanya and I are going to see the Palin movie “The Undefeated” down in Highlands Ranch, CO, on Saturday, July 16 at 7:15 pm. But first we’re going to the Yabby Hut at 4pm to have some crawfish and steamed shrimp. Anyone wants to join us is welcome.

Darleen we’ve bought tickets for the Orange County CA show, 1 hr. 53 min. (PG-13)7:00pm, the evening of Fri, Jul. 15th AMC 30 At The Block, 20 City Blvd West Orange, CA 92868

My wife and I are going, we’d like to stop by the will call about 5, then go nearby in that mall for appetizers and a drink. What do you think about the Tu Tu Cafe, appetizers/tapas? Or Alcatraz Brewery, pub food?

For anyone thinking of attending a reminder that the 405 is closed between the Valley and LA that weekend. There will either be a worldwide traffic jam or everyone will stay home. Plan accordingly?

  19. motionview says:

you going to stop by for a cocktail hf? Can’t catch snowbilly cooties from tapas.

  20. SDN says:

No, Wolf, ‘feets isn’t any more an idiot than Obama is; they’re both malicious little shits who ignore facts when inconvenient.

  21. Wolf says:

It takes an idiot to be a malicious little shit, sez I.

  22. Wolf says:

    tick tock

    Suck my tick.

  23. Pablo says:

For anyone thinking of attending a reminder that the 405 is closed between the Valley and LA that weekend.

That sounds like Armageddon. And a bad weekend for PCH.

  24. happyfeet says:

I can’t get away next weekend I would love to come but I just can’t

  25. Swen says:

    He’ll be washing his hair….

  26. Jim in KC says:

Carmageddon, they’ve been calling it, Pablo.

  27. B. Moe says:

I am already committed also. Kennesaw is basically the other side of the world for me anyways.
