I saw this in real-time yesterday morning, and I thought it was pretty darn good; especially considering the snarling of the press about her being substance-free, or whatevz…
She did a great job of answering all questions posed, and pushed back when Wallace tried to get her to admit she was wrong, when she wasn’t, about Paul Revere’s ride.
I watched it last night. I thought it was a very good interview for her, and very substantive. During the panel afterwards, Chris suggested the same thing. The test would still be her dealing with more hostile media, though perhaps that model of having to deal with the big three netwrods is no longer in play. That may be something we discover during this campaign season.
However, the establishment types have long since made up their minds about this snowbilly, this TundraTart (h/t JD), and I don’t see them changing their minds even if she runs, let alone if she wins the nomination.
It seems that Michelle Bachman has chosen Ed Rollins to run her campaign. Now I know he ran “The Huck’s” campaign last time, and has been a commentator on CNN, but also was a player in Reagan’s 1984 run as well.
Whatever you think of him, he’s surely not going to counsel Bachmann to try and appear more “pragmatic” in the interest of “comity”.
motionview mentioned this weird Wallace slam yesterday in which Wallace tells Palin she screwed Paul Revere up, she informs him that she didn’t, and then he claims to have looked it up, so they both know she’s right.
I liked his show. I saw a couple iterations of his comedy routine though and they were both exactly the same. So, I can live without him in my world. He is dead to me.

Oops, that was from a while ago. A little help?

And if Politico is to believed, Perry may be waiting to see what Palin’s going to do before he makes any decisions of his own:

Take it with a pound of salt, as always.

Sarah Palin Denies Chris Wallace’s Charge That She ‘Messed Up About Paul Revere’
It seems to be missing from the transcript:
Newsweek goes Broadway.
Ed Rollins is an older, grumpier version of Karl Rove. His claim to fame is he “won” an unloseable re-election campaign.
I like Bachmann, but this is two near-broke gamblers pooling their chips for one last turn at the wheel.
Well Ernst, the one good thing is he won’t be asking her to pull any punches.
With Bush they waited till after he was elected to do these “jokes”. On Palin they get pre-emptive.
Christopher Titus gets to live, and Mitch Hedberg dies. Fuck.
Cruel, cruel world.
Not to me he doesn’t.
I liked his show. I saw a couple iterations of his comedy routine though and they were both exactly the same. So, I can live without him in my world. He is dead to me.
Never seen either his stand-up or show.
Wanted to flesh him out, but:
Titus’ website says, “I’m not an asshole, I’m a revolutionary!”
No. No Chris, you’re an asshole. A stupid, ignorant asshole.
