Two announcements:  first, a blogger of some repute will appear on tonight’s Dennis Miller show—this according to Steve from Hog on Ice, who is one of the funniest dudes ever to cook with bacon fat.

Second, Outside the Beltway’s James Joyner will debate Duncan Black on Janeane Garofalo’s Air America show Wednesday, August 18th.  Tattoos drink free.

Incidentally, both Miller and Garofalo continue to duck me—Miller because I can name every “Lancelot Link” villain, Garofalo because I once ditched her at a party in the East Village for a drunk and horny Juliette Lewis.

But my day will come…

update:  For the record, Lewis had so many body piercings that I felt like I was feeling up the inside of a Pachinko machine.  But the tequila was definitely first rate.

update 2:  Miller’s mystery guest was the fabulous Moxie, who was clearly straining at the bit to give protein wisdom a plug. Regrettably, she couldn’t really get a word in edgewise because Ed Begley, Jr. wouldn’t stop lisping about his goddamned electric car.  The pasty-faced bastard.*
