The Democrat answer to skyrocketing energy costs?

1. Lighter cars and tune-ups.
2. Less drilling, refining, and mining.
3. Punish the producers, refiners, miners and those they employ — along with everyone who uses gas, oil, or electricity.
4. Hot Air.

So. The rebuttal:

I believe Ann Coulter used the analogy of a 30 day supply of food to show the fallacy of energy conservation. As Ann put it, “If you only have a thirty day supply of food, you cannot avoid starvation simply by eating less. At some point, you have to find a new supply of food.”

You forgot tire inflation. Very, very important, that tire inflation.

Why go back to living in an 18th century agrarian gaia-friendly manner of course. Party like it’s 1799! Only without all of the personal liberty!

Well, at least for all us rubes; our betters will still have limos, private jets, etc…

Because we all know they won’t to lower us all to ersatz serfdom, then we’ll all be equally miserable.

Tire inflation!? Jeez, I can’t buy food or gas, and now I can’t even afford new tires for the truck I can’t buy gas for. Can this day get any worse?

    Ohhhhh. Never mind.

Weekend surprise! BHO offers ‘Drill, baby, Drill!’ concession to Sarah Palin!

The proposal to raise the standard to 62 mpg, which would translate into “real world” average efficiency of about 45 mpg, is also backed by 17 U.S. senators, who last month issued a letter of support for a “maximum feasible” standard.

Official EPA MPG Formula: (62 fantasy world mpg) – (17 sitting Senators) = (45 real world mpg)

Clip, save and staple to your visor for handy reference.

I am with you,and I apologize for being (I first wrote “bedding an A-hole”. Karma) an A-hole and don’t mistake whacked out anger for substance abuse. You have absolutely no idea and csnnot comprehend what I am dealing with. I have trouble comprehending what I am dealing with. My anger does not belong on your (or anyone else’s) head..

And I, as a person who tries to understand and be of help to others (No, I am not a Jehovah’s Witness), could never have comprehended my dark fate, before it befell me.

My apologies. You have nothing to do with my uncontrollable (so far) rage.

    Truce.

    And blessings.
