“Once upon a time, there was a young lawyer with fabulous locks who could read the minds of unborn children with cerebral palsy…”
OH! I know this one! The three pigs end up getting fat and filthy rich after suing the straw manufacturer!
I love that story…
We need a new word for this kind of telepathy. You see, it’s not enough to be able to read minds. Our young lawyer with the fabulous locks would have to convert a stream of consciousness somewhat akin to “akldop8isyuc8ajb34bd qrq90w4r ew8wef08 uqewr2uy4 01[df of “ into words not normally assumed to be in the vocabulary of the unborn. Or the born +1 for that matter. And what if the child had been Chinese? Would it still have “spoke” in English?
This would have been really spooky if I had an unborn, Chinese child with cerebral palsy. At 2 out of 3, it’s just slightly spooky. Still, maybe I could rent Edwards just so I know what she’s thinking. Maybe I should save up for when she’s a teenager.
