"NLRB's Boeing suit could send U.S. jobs overseas"

And? That’s the point, isn’t it?

Less non-union jobs here = more people dependent on government. Which means more people voting their “economic interests.” Which means more class warfare. Which means more for the activist mainstream press to demagogue. Which means greater opportunity for the progressive Democrats to point fingers, demonize, and blame job loss on “draconian cuts” by Republicans to a budget that has, built in to it in perpetuity, the “one-time” $800 billion in “stimulus” money as part of its baseline deficit spending.

Which means the fate of the country is at the whim of disinterested, mostly uninformed voters who’ve been educationally indoctrinated into the leftism of “social justice” and “fairness” and kept abreast of current events by a propaganda arm of the progressive left — and who have a hard time recognizing that “shared sacrifice” is simply code for “shared misery,” while the bedrock American idea of “shared prosperity” is, as scion of an oil fortune, John Rockefeller, put it yesterday, an idea that is “out of touch” with the path the country is on.

Splendid.

I call first dibs on potatoes and toilet paper, comrades. Just so’s you know.

You can have the toilet paper. I’ll be using this large bag of treasury notes to wipe my ass with. Your toilet paper will be worth far more.

Potatoes? Well, you can make Vodka with it, so…I won’t arm wrestle you for it, because, well, you’re like strong and shit. So, how about we shoot hoops for it?

Does this mean we go to the Red Army model? That means DoD gets 50% of GDP, da?

Of course that means I’d probably get some political commisar battened on to me and I’d end up counting trees in Alaska…

So, nyet, spaseba, Senator Oil Trust Fund. I’ll take prosperty for all over shared misery.

And remember the helpful tips we received in these pages not long ago. Start with rabbit and deer, they go first; then on to the squirrel. Then we feast on possum raccoon.

Don’t believe them when they tell you pine-needle tea is nutritious!
