"AP-GfK poll: Obama approval hits 60 percent"

Seems Americans are finally coming around, recognizing — as the little bugs must — that they are practically graced by Obama’s service:

In worrisome signs for Republicans, the president’s standing improved not just on foreign policy but also on the economy, and independent Americans — a key voting bloc in the November 2012 presidential election — caused the overall uptick in support by sliding back to Obama after fleeing for much of the past two years.

Comfortable majorities of the public now call Obama a strong leader who will keep America safe. Nearly three-fourths — 73 percent — also now say they are confident that Obama can effectively handle terrorist threats. And he improved his standing on Afghanistan, Iraq and the United States’ relationships with other countries.

Despite a sluggish recovery from the Great Recession, 52 percent of Americans now approve of Obama’s stewardship of the economy, giving him his best rating on that issue since the early days of his presidency; 52 percent also now like how he’s handling the nation’s stubbornly high 9 percent unemployment.

The economy remains Americans’ top issue.

Now, it’s true that the internals show that something on the order of twice as many Democrats as Republicans were polled; but that’s not the point. The point is, the AP has declared what it wants us to believe, and has dictated to us the perceived truth.

The real facts? Don’t matter a bit.

Reality can suck when you are a progressive. So sometimes you have to create your own.

    FIRST!
Based on the poll breakdown, it’s just “garbage in, garbage out”.

The people have spoken. We can now dispense with those pesky, expensive, troublesome elections.

Can’t happen here, you say? So many things have happened here recently, that were previously unthinkable, that I can no longer imagine any limits at all. Nor imagine what, if anyhing, could stop them.

Speaking of polls, Zogby surveys 1377 likely Republican primary voters. Of those actually running, Cain would take the nomination today.

Clearly “AP” stands for Abject Propagandists.

The created reality sucks, but in a totally different way. Like hitting a mine is a totally different type of suckage than hitting an iceberg, but it still sucks because in the end that water is still cold.

  6. But real Republicans will sacrifice anything to get that 4% of independent voters. Isn’t that how it works?

lA splash of cold water go with the Koolaid:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 25% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Thirty-seven percent (37%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -12

I believe that is called the race-mussen poll there, wise guy.

MSNBC truth-talkers will tell you that Republicans were clearly over-sampled.
