Five words or less review: Why?
Because there don’t appear to be any writers in Hollywood who can come up with anything original?
Just a guess.
A) When in doubt remake
B) The writer has less work to do, but gets paid the same as a orginal script.
C) A political diatribe to prove thier party credential so they make others films.
d) All of the above
I don’t understand why they’re remaking a classic. Demme is an excellent director, but I can’t help but think it’s an attempt to make a political statement. I noted from the trailer that it’s a vice-president rather than a Senator (if I remember correctly). Looks like an opportunity to take several pokes at Cheney.
Because Fahrenheit 9/11 demonstrated a market for mindless, mean-spritied left-wing propoganda but hasn’t yet emptied the pockets of the loony left?
Alternate five word or less review:
Bush, Halliburton, Cheney, Ashcroft, Oil!
I’m curious: given the seething anti-semitism barely submerged in the zeitgeist of the left, and given Hollywood’s incestuous relationship with that same left, why no big budget films where the enemies are the cursed Joooooos?
Of course, the Joooooos are well represented in Hollywood, but that then begs the question: why the incestuous relationship with the left in the first place?
Five word (or less) review:
Meryl Streep IS Hillary Clinton
Why . . . because its a war against the bushes.
Get out the bushes—get out the bushes—get out the bushes—get out the bushes . . .
