Willie Soon and Barun Mitra, NetRightDaily:
Which should we fear most? Climate change that some say might happen 50 or 100 years from now? Or an energy-deprived life of continued poverty, misery, disease, and forgotten hopes and dreams?
Like most honest political questions these days, these are completely rhetorical.
And frankly, we’re rapidly approaching that moment when discussing any of these issues is pointless, anyway.
We know the answers. Question is, what are we prepared to do about it?

Lindsey: “General Petraeus sent a statement out to all news organizations yesterday, urging our government to [condemn] Koran burning. Free speech probably allows that, but I don’t like that. I don’t like burning the flag under the idea of free speech. That bothers me; I have been one of the chief sponsors of legislation against burning the flag. I don’t like the idea that these people picket funerals of slain servicemen. If I had my way, that wouldn’t be free speech. So there are a lot of things under the guise of free speech that I think are harmful and hateful.”
To be certain, if I had still any doubts about it, my mind is now forever made up in favor or burning flags.
These wretched motherfuckers have managed to silence the NY State geologist, because he made statements supportive of hydro-fracturing to obtain more natural gas. He works for the Dept. of Education, fer chrissakes! Yet we are asked, no REQUIRED, to take seriously an “activist” who’s “credentials” are-she’s a manger of a musician, and reads the NY Times.
I am at a loss as to how to deal with these shitstains. Lots of rope and a bunch of lampposts, I’m afraid…
Breath fire on them, Strabo. Show them what an angry dragon can do.
