I watched Conan O’Brian’s monologue once, a month or so ago, and it was kinda funny, when nothing else is on. Finding myself in that situation again, and unwilling to abandon my easy chair, I watched again last night. Three “jokes” in, he “joked” that FOX is reporting that Obama is a Muslim. I think it was one of those sarcastic things where he said it knowing no one could hold him to it, but those in the know knew what he meant, if you know what I mean. And I know you do.
Unless you just don’t get sarcasm, but that’s a different blog post.
There’s definitely a culture wide effort to discredit FOX, and I’m afraid they have succeeded in selling the idea Jon Stuart is a more credible source of news, at least to anyone not conservative.
Yet FOX still has more viewers than all the other alphabet news channels combined. Go figure.
