It hasn’t helped a soul, those who pushed for it most are the ones being exempted, and yet the claims that it will create jobs and reduce the deficit — surreal claims on their face and of course not backed by any credible accounting — are still being pushed.
But don’t worry. Our GOP leadership in the House is working tirelessly to get 2% cut from a deficit budget for last year in exchange for a raising of the debt ceiling — all while using phony procedural arguments against its own TEA Party contingent to keep from having to cut the $105 billion allotted yearly for a law a federal judge has ruled unconstitutional.
Tiger blood.
#WINNING!
Why isn’t the GOP backing defunding of this?
In the immortal words of Cloud Cult: Suck up, suck up and take your medicine.
My health insurance rates will be going up about $35 in July. I expect them to go up a lot more in July 2012 if ObamaCare is still in place, and considering the GOP leaderships apparent lack of principles, it will be, without any real opposition.
There is the beginning of a rumble of backlash hereabouts at Lynn Westmoreland for his failure to insist on defunding ObamaCare in the CR.
