"Sen. Boxer: Opponents of EPA Climate Regulations ‘Hurting the American People’"

CNS News:

Senate Environment and Public Works Committee Chairwoman Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) said that anyone who opposes the efforts of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to regulate greenhouse gas emissions was “hurting the American people.”

“Anyone who tries to stop the EPA from enforcing the Clean Air Act – a bipartisan landmark piece of legislation – is hurting the American people,” Boxer said at a news conference on Thursday.

Under the Clean Air Act, the EPA can regulate greenhouse gases, which Boxer described as “dangerous.”

“Carbon [dioxide] pollution is dangerous. The co-contaminants that go along with it are very dangerous,” she said.

The co-contaminants being us, naturally.

Listen → to follow Boxer’s facile argument to its end, you have to conclude that unless and until we stop exhaling, we are all hurting the American people. That is, the process of Americans breathing is hurting Americans.

Fewer Americans breathing, it follows, would mean less hurt inflicted on Americans — with the pinnacle of a healthy America presumably reached when the last of the EPA bureaucrats, having rid a moribund America of the Americans whose breathing is hurting Americans, kill themselves.

Having turned off the last of those curly fry lightbulbs and shutting the doors to keep in heat, of course.

WHY DOES BARBARA BOXER HATE THE LIVING?

Christ. This is our country, folks. When are we going to rise in revolt and simply refuse to follow the rules and regulations the hard left is imposing on us in order to centralize their power and control every aspect of our lives?

How about this for a new TEA Party revolt: we refuse to pay taxes on the basis that we realize we are paying for the privilege of being imprisoned and — buzzword! — bullied, by our own government, specifically, by an unelected administrative state that is used by the left to further insinuate its control at the expense of more and more of our liberties.

That’d be bitchin’, wouldn’t it?

Put her in a room with Pelosi, Reid, Obama and Biden and they’re deciding who the smartest one of all of them is between her and Biden.

    That’s what’s scary.

  2. ironpacker says:

With Feinstein, Boxer, and Pelosi California scores a trifecta of twatwaffles.

  3. Darleen says:

Considering Boxer’s brain is mostly granite, she may not be exhaling C02 at all…

    (gads, CA is doomed)

  4. Joe says:

If they can pull that Global Warming canard out our collective asses, it would be nice.

  5. Ryan C says:

I’m not even sure if Boxer is smarter than the average boxer. After all, dogs don’t think that plant food, AKA carbon dioxide, is a pollutant.

I like it, but will it fit on a bumper sticker :)

I vote that Boxer stop breathing first; for gaia!

I think I would fall dead if once, just once one of these @#$holes would just up and say “I respect my colleagues opposition, I can see the thrust of their arguments, that have been made rationally and in good faith. But I disagree with them, and here is why ….” WITHOUT ascribing evil, selfish or corrupt motives.

I might just live forever, were that my only risk of death.

  8. Strabo says:

All your air are belong to us.

  9. mojo says:

The clean air act doesn’t say that, Babs, and the EPA doesn’t have that power. By fucking design.

    You brainless twat.

  10. Spiny Norman says:

It’s been said many times before, but bears repeating: since Joe “Gaffemaster” Biden left the Senate, Babs Boxer has become the nation’s dumbest Senator. She owns that title, and she worked hard to earn it, so don’t you forget it.

  11. Pellegri says:

TREES PRODUCE POLLUTION. That fellow I argued with in the airport heard me say that! You know, what with them going into respiratory mode at night and pumping out CO2 like the rest of us.

    Son of a bitch trees.

“Carbon [dioxide] pollution is dangerous. The co-contaminants that go along with it are very dangerous,” she said.

I don’t think she can even name any of those co-contaminants. Most of these people can’t.

  12. zino3 says:

    Co-contaminant?

I doubt if Boxer could even tell us what that means…

  13. vaguely says:

    I’d do her.

    in man’s evolution,
he’s created the city and the motor traffic rumble,
but give me half a chance
and i’d be taking off my clothes and living in the jungle.

’cause the only time that i feel at ease
is swinging up and down in a cocoanut tree.
oh, what a life of luxury
    to be like an epaman.
