Obama’s actions betray his tyrannical impulses. He is not content to let the American people sort things out at the State or local level – everything simply must be dominated from a central locus of power and authority.
It is not rhetorically excessive to describe this as fundamentally un-American.
Can you imagine the caterwalling, crying, and gnashing of teeth that would be going on if Boooooooosh! had inserted himself into a local issue like the won has here?
The MBM would have entire segments of every broadcast dedicated to his interference and the “imperial presidency” every day; and for weeks even after the issue had been resolved…]
But here? I hear next to nothing on any channel, save for Fox, about Obama’s involvement. Why aren’t there any hyperventilations over him using the word “assault” to describe Walkers attempt to execute the people’s will? Why is there no talk about the protesters buying time, keeping the issue alive until the DNC/Trumka/et al could get their bussed in astroturf goon squands there, in order to improve the protest’s “optics”? Why isn’t there anyone questioning the involvement of OFA, Obama’s campaign arm, on the side of the union protesters?
And why aren’t they focusing on the fact that WI teachers, in salary alone, make as much as the average WI family does-notwithstanding their benefits packages! ( http://tiny.cc/zshrl )
This is stuff we’re all going to have to remember well, for use in the future, and be ready to fight memes with facts and inconvenient truths.

Helluva way to start out the 2012 campaign.

PALIN YOU MAGNIFICENT… um… CHILLBILLY!!!
For a bit the only source quoted for the Pelosi story was that one badly written piece at Politico but now it is up here at her official site.
Thanks to Stephanie, a link to Palin’s statement on Wisconsin.
