“ObamaCare vs. The Constitution of the United States”

“For the sake of America, the judicial branch and powers of the state need to be made equal again to Congress and the President. Otherwise these current years will go down in history as when America voided out the Constitution for the sake of a health care law.”

Of course, to O! this is all a feature, not a bug…

  2. John Bradley says:

It might be worth doing a little reseach into what happened in Venezuela after “president” Hugo Chavez took office, and how he became dictator-for-life. I’m betting there are some interesting comparisons to be drawn between Hugo and the his most-exalted holiness, the Golden Urkel.

(He said, idly, making no plans to do said research, nor actually requesting anyone else to do it.)

Wisconsin is the Spanish Civil War of our own Cold Civil War, the testing ground for the combat to come in 2012. The Left understands this, which is they why are pouring their Organizing-for-America Lincoln Brigades into Madison; they know that if they lose there, they will lose the larger war. That if the coercive power of the public employee unions can be broken in Wisconsin, with its history of homespun (as opposed to Alinsky) progressivism, it can be broken elsewhere.

This isn’t just a fight about the teacher’s union, or even about the pusillanimous Democrat legislators who, like the hapless Jerry Lundegaard in Fargo, have fled the jurisdiction. This isn’t even really a fight about labor unions. It’s a fight about the nature of our federal union, and which is to be master: Barack Obama or the Constitution that he swore (twice!) to uphold.

I can’t get over the chutzpah of O! telling Vinson he’d like for the Judge to instruct the states to keep on gettin’ up on implementing Obamacare.

Even though Vinson made it clear that the only reason he didn’t issue a formal injunction was because he couldn’t see a situation where the executive branch would even consider acting in defiance of a ruling like his; because he thought that the ruling by-and-of itself was a de facto injunction.

Vinson screwed up. He thought he was dealing with a crew that belived in the rule of law and the Constitution…

  5. Stephanie says:

Vinson adjudicated as a judge should fully knowing that the actions of the administration would determine their fate and left the administration with the rope to hang themselves. Visibly. With the rest of the federal judges watching. Interesting watching the administration place their heads in the noose, though.

There’s no one to open the trap-door, Stephanie. The MBM is underneath it propping it closed.

  7. DarthLevin says:

Also, Vinson was under the misapprehension that something akin to “shame” might live in The Good Man(R)’s heart.

  8. Stephanie says:

Vinson holds the handle. The MBM is just a fog machine. The judges will get the last laugh. One thing Obama is forgetting is that many judges really hold the Constitution as a higher document and his crapping on it won’t endear him to those who “love the law” and went into law as a avocation.

don’t know what happened to my n. It must be in the backyard sunning in the 74 degree weather. I think I’ll join it for a while. Range here I come.

    Bob,

The judge in LA. holding the obumble’s in contempt for not moving on the drilling permits, prolly feels the same way.

    Fool me once…
