  1. Well, we did have the Orioles.

And, “Go Orioles” at 1:29 a.m.?  When do you sleep?  I can remember almost all of the members of those great teams that swept the Dodgers and went nose to nose with The Big Red Machine, except for the third outfielder.  Robinson, Blair and ???

Don Buford, Merv Rettenmund… And I’m set up for MT.  Don’t think it was 1:29 here.  Or else I need help.

    Navel-gazing. Heh.

I’ll be serious for once.  I voted for Carter in 1980.  He’s the only Democrat for whom I have ever voted for President, and I’ve voted in every Presidential election since 1972.  Like so many others, I thought that Ronald Reagan was a significant threat to world peace.

I was wrong.  By 1984, I realized that I was wrong, and voted for President Reagan.

President Reagan, more than any other President during my lifetime, was a great leader.  Those PBS links make it quite clear what a poor leader President Carter was.  We were fortunate as a nation to have had Ronald Reagan as our President for eight years, and even more fortunate that he became our President when he did.

Don’t take me back there again.

  6. Auuuuuuugh! I knew that, I just couldn’t remember.

    Stem cells……must have stem cells.
