   Dammit.  I hate it when I don’t catch one of these musical references.  It leaves me feeling like my manhood has been diminished.

   And Johnny Marr’s not queer, is he?  That’d be great if he was – 80’s Gay Guitar God!  (Now Morrissey, I could see, even if I think a lot of what he does is just a put-on.)

   I think Morrissey is very much into self love, and not the Kleenex kind of self-love, but the HEY LOOK AT MY GIANT EGO! kind.

   Julie Brown. Great song. She also did “Earth Girls Are Easy,” the song, and later, the movie featuring future archery star Geena Davis in a string bikini and Jim Carrey (not in a string bikini).

    It’s The Josey Cotton Band… took the chair lift to the top of Mt. Baldy one summer night in the early 80’s to hear them play that song…
