Great Moments in Scurrilous Headlining

Ted Kennedy calls Iraq “George Bush’s Vietnam.”

In other news, protein wisdom calls Ted Kennedy “John Kerry’s Chappaquiddick.”

  1. Russell says:

Are you suggesting that John Kerry is somehow going to drown his car, along with another person, in Teddy’s voluminous rolls of flab?

Cuz if you’re not, I will.

  2. Chrees says:

“Mary Jo Kopechne was unavailable to comment on Kennedy’s speech.”

  3. Dawn says:

Psst Ted!  It’s so embarrassing to have to bring this to *your* attention.

Guess who was shipping GIs to ‘Nam in the early 60s?

    I’m not lying.  Ask Ethel.

  4. Sadly, this means Ted still hasn’t learned the lessons of Vietnam.  Either that or he has moved into consciously hoping the US loses.

Fortunately, the armed forces and everyone else not stuck in the glory days of the late 60’s and early 70’s has moved on.  Say, “move on” has kind of a ring to it, doesn’t it?

I wonder how many American military casualties were taken between 11:15 pm and 1:00 am on July 18-19, 1969.
