Plus if this case fails, the cool thing is how ruling will define the Constitution it’s drawn from. Ostensibly.
The Republic of Virginia:? Hmmm … nice ring to it. Certainly better than that whole “Commonwealth” crap. That hoity-toity concept has been so twisted and mutated over the years as to have lost its plain meaning.
I hope Virginia secures its borders after the leaving.
This would be a good time to pray for the continuing good health of Justices Roberts, Alito, Scalia, Thomas and Kennedy.

You mean besides the fact that history is as kind to to the left as time was to Norma Desmond (whom, come to think of it, Nancy Pelosi increasingly resembles –the botox does wonders for highlighting the insanity in the eyes!)?
I’d say it’s because history is reflective and progress is projective. The left is all about teh future, and if they have to build a pyramid of skulls to reach it, then that’s what they’ll do.
