His ghostly shadow — its cold, dank hands contaminating the bread of civic goodness with their unwanted vestigial kneading — pulls yet more good souls asunder.
Alas and alack. And so on.

The kung fu of this Boooosh is quite strong.
Did you teach him some hooks?
Just imagine what you could do with an army of smirking chimps. Today, the world — tomorrow, the universe!
Wasn’t Love Story written about them?
It’s more likely that Al’s ego has grown so large that even his 20,000 square foot house can no longer contain it. Perhaps he loves himself too much to love anyone else.
I can see it. I mean, Boooooooooooosh! should have let him win in 2000; for his marriage, and for their children!
The hell with the country…
Did anyone ever consider that maybe Al hadn’t been puttin’ in enough bush time lately? He’s so busy effin’ us all, for gaia!, that just maybe he didn’t have no mojo nor go-go left for the ol’ Tipper.
I always thought she was kinda hot; albeit in a matronly sort of way…
HTML fail!
That kind of made me hurl a little in the back of my mouth, Bob.
That Karl Rove is a bad, bad man.
“HTML fail!”
Dude, a toast to Tipper.
Couldn’t be an asset-protection scheme to keep all those lovely millions he’s bilked out of Green true believers, could it?
Nah. What was I thinking?
Which part JD,
The bit about Big Al puttin’ in bush time or tipper bein’ attractive in a matronly kind of way?
Bob – Yes. Must bleach my mind’s eye.
Maybe the fellows that sell the pitchforks or the other guys with the cudgels will have some brain bleach in sale.
If not, a little “taste” or two might do the trick!
crank-d, I did not need the image of Gore “loving” himself.
Bob R. “Losing an election for the children.” Is there anything that can’t be done “for the children?”
Must bleach my mind’s eye.
Just lie back and think of Nishi. ;)
RIP to their marriage. I would never wish matrimonial unhappiness on anyone.
And yes, CBS has a serious twist in their knickers yet, re Bush.
ix-nay on the jennesistyou-ay.
I did not mean it that way, Blake. There’s only enough room in Al’s life for Al, but in a platonic sense.
I’m not sure Squid or I will be offering brain bleach any time soon. There may be an opportunity here for another entrepreneur.
I’m reasonably certain that George W. Bush, painted by the left as a chimp-like moron fascist, has the combined powers of a Decepticon, Death Star and The Doomsday Device. I suspect that even after he is dead, the evil tendrils of his dark power will vex progressives … FROM THE GRAVE!!!!!
To find Sally Quinn in the dictionary, look up “silly bitch.”
CrankyD Brain Bleach! For those inconvenient mental images of Helen Thomas in fishnet stockings and a leotard.
(available in convenient 50 gallon drums)
I looked into BrainBleach some time ago, but the HazMat regulations are a pain in the ass.
Story goes that on their first date, Al begged the pudgy lass to let him just “put the tip in”. She finally relented and her nickname was borne on the wings of young Al’s posse/brain trust of pimply-faced losers. Little did our Nobel Laureate realize that from then on he was known as “ingrown needle dick” in Tipper’s circle of debutantes.
That’s classy.
And these fools mocked him? Mocked this awesome power? They challeneged this, this Chimpus Khan?
Fools! He will destroy you All!
#21 BJ:
Will you through in an industrial strength stainless steel wire brush if I order two drums?
Why marriages fail.

The Force is strong with this Bush.
Like the man granted charity or children dependent on well off parents, much of this resentment by the NY-Hollywood axis towards W is because they know in his persistence and effectiveness how much he does for them.
Just look at the insistent anti-W flops like Green Zone, W., Redacted, Lions For Lambs, Jarhead, and the upcoming Fair Game: Even seventeen months after he left office, more jobs are still being created under Bush than Obama.
From the article linked in the post:
Um, innit more likely that she, in fact, did get over it, while he didn’t, and that that, more than anything else, was responsible for them “growing apart?”
