Sounds harsh, sure. But how else to describe a scathing attack by Star Parker — who purports to be a black woman — on an authentic (and historic! and symbolic! and transformative, post-racial, post-ideological, post-partisan, et al.) black man who, let me remind you, won the Presidency? From the Washington Examiner:
After voters in Massachusetts elected a Republican to replace Sen. Ted Kennedy, killing the Democrats’ filibuster-proof Senate majority, many pundits wrote that Obama had to move to the political center.
I wrote then that this wouldn’t happen because, unlike President Clinton, who did moderate, this president is a left-wing ideologue. He didn’t run for president to be somebody. He did it to do something. He did it to change America.
As polls showed waning public support for what Democrats were pushing on health care, many assumed they would back off. It was still conceivable that they could stand rules on their head and ram the thing through using the so-called reconciliation procedure. But why would they do it when polls suggested they would be punished in November elections?
But Obama understood that when you are selling dreams, numbers don’t matter.
So, as in the housing and financial debacle we just went through, you commit taxpayers’ money to subsidize a product to make it look cheaper than it is, you get people to buy it, and when it all comes crashing down, it doesn’t matter. By then you’re long gone.
And, another bonus, as more Americans get herded onto the government plantation — 30 million more with this new bill — it’s easy to keep them there. So, the most likely political outcome going forward is higher taxes and income redistribution to pay for it all, further entrenching socialism.
As I have written before, if you want to know where it all leads, look at our inner cities that were long ago taken over by government compassion. This is our future, my fellow Americans.
Clearly, Ms Parker isn’t aware of how much city living reduces the carbon footprint of those who might otherwise presume to reach above their station and, you know, sprawl out into the suburbs in their Target clothes, where they’ll build strip malls and Wal-Marts, bowling alleys and Applebee’s, multiplex cinemas and Best Buys, and — I kid you not! — drink diet soda directly from the can.
Obama is saving the earth, Ms Parker. He is doing what’s right — even if it isn’t particularly popular among those who, intellectually-speaking, really should be worried less about government policy and more about monitoring their daytime stories and their salt intake. And you are agitating against him.
Which, honestly. You may as well knot on a kerchief and get to work making the white man a big plate of pancakes, for all you’re bringing to the table, sister.
I’ll kick her cracker-loving Oreo-ass!
How dare a sista dis my homey?
It’s too bad Ms Parker hates herself so much.
The light dawns slowly…but it dawns…
After voters in Massachusetts elected a Republican to replace Sen. Ted Kennedy
Jury’s still out on that one.
Star Parker has been railing against the plantation for YEARs. She’s developed an immunity for the poison darts.
LMC, as I pointed out before that election, that’s as close to a Republican as it ever gets in Massachusetts. Which is why I wonder how anyone could consider supporting Mitt Romney for president in ’12.
…
You mean it’s gauche to drink Coke straight out of the can? I can honestly say that I’ve never seen anyone not drink from the can. I mean, I pour mine into a leftover Sonic styrofoam cup with a straw and everything so I can add ice. Everyone else – straight out of the aluminum. My world view has shifted. :/

Mmmmmmm, pancakes.
I just heard a bit of the best talk radio I’ve heard in a while. Andrew Wilkow is on vacation, and the guest host was bashing both Obama and Sharpton, as well as their followers. Leroy calls in and starts with “Man, I though Wilkow was bad, but you a racist.” The host asks Leroy to flesh out his complaint, and goes through the things he’s said to offend Leroy, asking him to correct any factual errors. Leroy does 5 minutes of “Well, it’s the way you said it.” and “You a racist.” when he finally gets to the “Don’t forget to drop off your KKK dues.” smack.
The host then asks the producer whether the KKK would accept his application, and suggests that the producer could be his frontman for KKK membership. Leroy cautiously asks “Are you black?” The host, David Webb replies “Yup. I’m a brother.” Hilarity ensues.
Actually, I suspect Webb could actually be a racist. The way he BBQ’d poor Leroy…
And, of course, I’m a racist, because I LOL’d.
And, of course, I’m a racist, because I LOL’d.
I’m a RAAAAACIST! as well. Because I laughed as well.
For which I denounce myself. And you as well, Pablo, because you didn’t denounce yourself while you had the chance.
Suburban sprawl is actually heavily subsidized at both the federal and state level through highways, tax exemptions, cheap utilities and dysfunctional zoning laws. Also, the FHA gave white families loans to move out into suburbia after WWII and actively encouraged the formation of white-only residential zones and the exclusion of blacks.
So you’re right about the federal govt. being partially responsible for the black ghetto. Just not in the right way.
Is there a right way?
I denounce everyone else for not denouncing JeffS and Pablo.
Or at least, not denouncing them before I did. RAAAAACISTS!
AJB talks about kicking out the honkies as though it were a bad thing. Get with the program, man.
I’m still wondering what way AJB thinks is correct, when creating black ghettos.
I can’t see one from here, so I’m going to go ahead and denounce him as a racist.
Is there a right way?
Yes, the lefties tax everyone into poverty. Except for the intellectual elites and their scampering minions (e.g., AJB), of course. It’s only fair.
That sounds like something you’d like, meya.
Samuel Gonzalez: “32 Black Republicans Running For Congress This Year Scares The Democrats To Death”
The moronic convergence of meya and AJB is amusing, if not pathetic.
Grove Parc is no plantation. But hey, what could go wrong?
you’re a bull conner demorat
AJB, I’ll support abolishing the FHA.
Woof! Woof!
“Which way did he go? Which way did he go?
Because before WWII there was hardly any segregated housing in the US.
How can somebody that stupid function?
BMoe – that one is more dense than lead.
And all the black people lived in cities.
Oh oh, does such apostasy not mean that Ms. Parker has renounced her right to “return” to Africa?
#13: That is surprising since covenants and restrictions (on deeds) that prevented real property being sold to a person of a certain race or religion were struck down after WWII.
Wanna go back and dip at the racial well of over sixty years ago and try to find something relevant to the USA today? And by-the-way: Ozzie and Harriet Nelson (NTTIAWWT) are more relevant to the USA today.
Thought I’d give you a little help there.
#26: Why are you still here when Cuba and Venezuala are so close?
Or you could look around today and see what is relevant. This might be a good place to start, I am guessing there is a lot about segregation that would surprise you.
#30: JD, calling that one dense is an insult to gravity.
It’s the way God wants it to be.
Don’t like it? Take it up with God.
